I'm confused by Fernandos listing, having talked with Tabby, that player has not popped in Defender since he was sold, and he didn't even pop to Brilliant defender in 4 weeks.

I may have misread your statement but it’s not that it took 4 weeks to brilliant it’s that he’s given him 4 weeks of defender training. So he’s not brilliant +4, he’s more like brilliant +x +4 more likely.

That would make more sense

Would have to ask nerozerro but my ongoing stats from those graduating the U21 Aus NT system.

Hoang was #1 for his age group.

Of the last 6 seasons of graduates, he is 12th in terms of skill distribution of who I feel will go on to greater things in the NT. Of those, 6 are older than him, and 5 are younger than him.

That's about all I can offer from my perspective.

As achmid said, there are many guys comning as defenders, some of them around 2x increible 22 or 23 yo....

So, I see Hoang may have chances to play in the next 2 seasons, but the other guys have potential to develop better than Hoang. Hoang is a good card to develop in case some of the youngers get bad training

Had to wait for this guy to go on sale before I finally got an update on him. Was a very promising youth, so I'm glad he is getting sold before his speed goes up any higher.

Looks like he could really work as either a Defender or Midfielder. I have messaged his youth club team to see whether they had any youth school talent data on him.

He either needs to be trained as a defender with defence, or as a midfielder with pass (which I could possibly give - would still only be Good pass by the start of next season though)

Pinned him. Would be nice for my training until the end of this season - 5 wks pass + 5 wks pm. Then probably more pass and pass + some tech.

Sounds good. As much as he would fit my training (going down the MID pathway), the time of sale is terrible timing for me
