A very nice keeper although will likely always be behind Borg for first (along with Love).

Talent 4, so definitely trainable, but given Borg is 19, I probably wouldn't bother for the Aussie trainers

No longer U21, but if anyone is training passing, has money, and doesn't want to fill the spot with a MID, this guy is a good long term GK

What a shame, despite selling for so much, the new owner has no intention of training his passing, so will likely be a wasted goalkeeper for the senior NT

Always the way with gks unfortunately. They almost always end up with someone that says I’m not giving him training because he’s good enough for my first team. So hard to get good gks

Not sure you’ve got the funds but could always ask to buy him for more then was paid. Only real option left to get training anyway

Unfortunately given how overpaid he was, it's not really an option in my eyes. Looking back at old transfers, he was about 1.5-2.0M Euro ($2.4-$3.2M AUS) overpaid, which is just too much extra to give when I would already be losing 10% of my trainee income by him taking up a training spot.

Fihaki, who is 4yrs older, will just have to hold on a bit longer.

Yes. But in this case when our 2 main GKs are injured (or could be low in form), borg plays an important role.

Has taken 11 months to get this guys skills and he is now on the TL.

It will be between him and Hart for who will be our leading GK next season, both are great U21 players (allthough both will be unlikely to be Senior NT GKs, and only represent U21 Aus for 1 season)

Would be great to see him get pace training, that way next season we will have some buffer if poor form hits.
