Asunto: Weekly Friendly Comp

For anybody interested, we have 3 teams confirmed for a weekly friendly comp, which takes the 'ball ache' of searching for a weekly opponent to ensure you maximise training etc.

Hoping to kick off for next week, 21 Oct, if we can add at least one further team. Teams confirmed thus far -

Try messaging a couple of the other small nations with only a couple of users and try to build some country alliances.
It would be good to have a few of us small countries all talking and training eachothers youths

Good idea, we can really do that. Although I'm having lesser and lesser time these days, but I'll still do my best.

Have mailed Brygada Antosia 2 and waiting for a reply from him. There's also one other South African club Waterkloof Warriors but haven't mailed him yet since there might be too many teams and lesser weeks for the tournament to complete. If I don't get a response from the Irish club, I might ask him.

My best midfielder is on TL if anyone is looking for a young trainable 20y mid.

ok, we have one more addition - gulzzy who is manager of Portland Juniors FC has joined so good to have another Oz manager
from div 2 onboard.

I'm going to rejig week one slightly so it's Portland Juniors FC in my place. I'm happy to wait & see if we find one more team.

Hoping to find one more team, otherwise we'll have a bye each round, where that team will need to find a match for that week.
I don't see it as a game changer if we end up going into the next season with the league if we have to - it just means a break until next season's cups are done.

One more player(my 3rd best defender) from my team is on TL if anyone is interested.

Ok chaps. It looks like Brygada Antosia 2 wants to be 6th team but cannot join until the second week (round 2).
This would mean a w/o for me in week 1 with a complete round of fixtures for week 2.
If all are ok with this, I will go ahead & book a friendly for my team, then come in for week 2.

I was thinking the w/o result could be 3-0 rather than 5-0...if all are ok with this?
Rule to apply for the season, should anybody fail to commit to a game in coming rounds.

I am ok with this and 3-0 sounds about right.

Fine by me. I'm not too worried about whether I win/lose (will still be trying mind you). I'm mostly interested continuing to do the progression towards sustainability and competitive in the A League.
