Ooh, nice! What did you enjoy most in Thai Cuisine? Recently, I visited a Thai restaurant nearby and I although I didn't like it, I can certainly give it one more try!

For our friendly on Friday, Irish defender Danny Mcmupp will be playing his last game for my club after being a part of my team for 3 whole seasons. Your attackers won't find it easy to go around him.

That would depend on if fantum goes with his best strikers or not. Surprised you’re trying to sell him on when you could train defender to him next season and he would be a really good asset.

I suspect some of my strikers were it not for their poor form (and your defs amazing form) would have a field day against outstanding defenders (even with unearthly pace). Crampton/Greenwood/Marth especially. Form sucks.

I have just been training pace for the past few seasons and that's the main reason why I'm planning to sell him. I know the next season the training structure is going to change (I don't know too much though) which will give more flexibility but I'm still unsure about it and I feel it's the right time to sell him now.

I'm not sure about the skills of your strikers but even in their best form, due to the structure of my defence, they will still find it difficult to get past them. Even if they did, the goal margin won't be huge even for a team with avg mark in say, mid 50s if I field the strongest side that I have. If I go with my 2nd string side however, then yes it will definitely be a field day. But if your strikers are too strong then my defenders can't stop them.

I enjoy most of the Thai food - real Thai food, that is - not the stuff you get in foreign restaurants. I rarely eat at Thai restaurants at home, but do cook my own stir fries, etc. as I can determine what goes in. :)
I spent a bit of time in the north-west this trip....around Chiang Mai...I rarely spend any time in Bangkok these days as there's so much to see & do elsewhere.

Result not surprising as I don't play any first teamers in friendlies, unless they're on red cards or first game back from injury & need a run for training. Haven't got my head around new training structures for coming seasons yet, & might just go with whatever our NT coaches suggest, as my interest is diminishing somewhat, as far as personal gains go. We shall see.

I feel you there mate. I play more for the mateship I have developed with those in the Aus community than for my team.

A shake up where we could actually play some new people and help eachother work up to a new league would definitely help with that though.

As far as the new training system goes, cometer and myself will keep trying keep trying follow and working out what the devs actually mean etc so that we can pass on some actual useful knowledge

For me, since most of the teams in NFL are easy to defeat, I tend to play younger players in those.
I too have started losing interest in the game due to other commitments.

MAB not accepted my invite (hope it's purely down to not logging in - not checked that).
Do we have a deadline before arranging elsewhere.?
2022-05-25 07:35:28
I waited until the Thursday evening before I went looking for another friendly when you were off enjoying your holiday :p. That being said we never really had any rules around deadlines for accepting matches so I guess it’s really when you feel like you have no other alternative. These are only friendlies after all.
2022-05-26 01:57:33
Yes, message to self to let those involved know when I'm likely to be missing. MAB must've declined as my invite to them has since vanished (although doesn't look like they have a game organised). I'll start advertising for other options.
2022-05-26 06:19:38
Yes, we can keep a deadline of Wednesday morning. If by Wednesday morning (SK time), a team doesn't respond to your friendly invite, you can schedule another friendly without worrying about losing points. It means that still you get 2 full days to arrange another friendly for your team.

The problem is I can't logon every day, just once or twice a week as I'm travelling a lot for work sorry about that :(
Deadline of wednesday is OK, it will be 5-0 loss for me this week.
2022-05-27 01:55:14
Would be easier if SK didn't make it a Plus only function, where arranging friendly leagues/fixtures are concerned.
Do invites timeout or did you decline? I went in to check a day or so ago, & the invite was gone....just arranged another friendly so all good for me this week.
