Have you changed the league status to 'active', to generate the fixtures - not seeing anything here (unless it kicks in with next updates).

I'm still waiting for 1 more team to join to make it to 10 teams so that we can get games for the next 9 weeks. If there's any Aussie user who wants to join, please join ASAP.

I might have missed him but I don't see him in the registered teams.

We'll wait till tonight and if we still have 8/10 teams, we'll start. If we have odd number of teams, we'll have to wait to get it to an even number since the league doesn't start if there are odd number of teams.

I have activated the league and the calendar might be drawn on Monday.

Off to a winning start as I win it 4-1. Salgado had a really nice game after a long time and he led the attack and had a hand in 3 of the 4 goals while Nietnagal played second fiddle. The combination of Mamelias and Salgado especially on the left was really threatening for Melbourne Mongrels as they played beautifully and created multiple opportunities. Mamelias was a workhorse going up and down the field and foiling the attacks from Melbourne on the left side. Gil and Chiba were really good and central defenders and although I intended to play Macvean in the center and Chiba as a wing defender which I forgot, it still worked out well for me. I think your defenders were a bit weak and left plenty of open spaces for my forwards. Also, maybe Byrgiel might have better suited as a forward in place of Laybutt who looked off colour. Chopchits and Corvera as Belarus and Chile NT players should have performed better with all their experience.
I too had 4 U21 NT defenders from 4 different countries, Chiba (India), Macvean(Scotland, is going to get NT game in the coming weeks), Ashton (Australia), Gil (Ecuador). So my defence was pretty nicely stacked up with U21 NT quality. All these 4 players have 21 NT caps between them.

On the other side, Maori All Blacks beat Comets by 4 goals to none which was surprising. Cool Runnings and Chile FC too beat their respective opponents.

Your ratings are better for the friendly than your league match?

"maybe Byrgiel might have better suited as a forward" - he's one of my first team strikers, but having a spare training slot for tech meant I played him in defence to give him full tech training this week.

Yeah the 4-0 loss was a little surprising. Training striker makes tactics somewhat more difficult but they did also go in with their strongest striker that I wasn’t expecting. I may have lost 4-0 but I did outshoot them 12-11 so I think that’s probably an unfair margin. I’ll take a look at it later and see where I could have gone better.

I hear ya regarding the shot to goals ratio.....I was 15-9 shots, with a 1-4 score.

Your ratings are better for the friendly than your league match?

Depending on who I play in the NFL, I'll be playing either of my 1st/2nd string squad. The team that I played against you was my 1st string squad.

Can definitely say after watching my match the result was probably a fair one. Got exposed by lack of pace on my defenders especially and lack of stamina in some other key positions. I can correct for that and was probably a good thing to see how that goes against teams with more skill then bots. Again, wouldn't have played that tactic if I was expecting them to use mostly first XI choices but given I did the result seemed to play out fair.
