Everyone starts with 200 supporters.

:) In my experience, you should aim to double your members in this next season. Then you're on the right track. You will keep climbing steeply until you hit a league where you will be struggling to win any games. At which point you're punching above your weight so your sponsors will love it but the supporters leave in droves. It's a way this game moderates the balance between teams struggling in higher leagues and teams dominating in lower ones.

As such, the ranking by points is probably a better measure of how you're going.
