Asunto: Fanclub members in Aus

So how long b4 this newbie drops out after getting hammered? Killing the game in Oz by dropping them into div II.
Is it worth mailing each newbie to say stick with it...take the pain until end of season...then build when in div III? Pretty sure if someone starts against the likes of Cometer, they'll be gone in no time after a 30+ goal hammering.

Mods log problems on the test server.
Devs read the test server forums and fix problems (normally...)

I've logged the issue on the 1/1 and followed it up but it appears we've been let down...

For sure, just a tad frustrated the guys upstairs are a bit sloppy when it comes to make this place run smooth and keep its user base.

It looks like Greg is willing to try something at last :)
It's implemented and there will be a news when we can decipher our polish friend but from what I understand for our case is that as long as we have more real users in the top two divisions than bots, the newbies will start in III. It will be trialed for a season at this stage but it's a good thing for us.

While I have started kicking some stinks about it on the mod forum, Cometer has been relentless and with the help of some other international mod, Greg has finally listened. From seing the behind the scenes, this is not something that happens everyday nor very often.

Nice work guys, huge effort indeed. To get Greg to change something like this is enormous.

We may never get sponsorship back up to what it was in Div II (with some real legend teams getting sent off into the sokker abyss of inactivity), but hopefully this will be the start of those sponsorship levels going back up again
