That was a nice tactic and your defenders are very annoying ;) The new ME was awesome, my midfielders werestringing the passes but strikers couldnt finish the shot properly and your defence was great ;)

Yeah would have been nice if I could have played my 2 best mids and my new striker :D

But that's how it goes with suspensions, injuries and NZ timing :P. My defence was ok, Your strikers were pretty intense though, my two central defenders have fairly high defending and easily monster anyone in div 2 and alot of A-League strikers from behind but didn't come close to yours. But yeah I was pleased with how it went as we didn't see any of the ball but still kept the shot and goal count respectable.

Tactic might have worked for me with the odd shot if I played with a better wing forward (Zienkowicz probably, he's not a good CM at all) and my DM could run and tackle.

Your side is top drawer though, the one thing that seperates it from Aus teams is that you actually possess a good midfield. Alot of teams in Aus have great strikers and defenders and the odd good mid but most of their midfield is made up of good playmakers who can't knock the ball around. Your midfield were doing it easy.

haha what an annoying match for me.. so many opportunities that were screwed up, i'm just happy Bodger got the early(ish) goal.

2 red cards for the comets destroyed their midfield, that was the funny part :P and it definitely shows that i need wingers with PASSING

6 shots = so many opportunities :o. 2 reds certainly was interesting, I don't think i've ever had that happen to my side before :p. A 1 - 0 loss but i'm not too dissatisfied :). Playing backup strikers and Masi was able to hold off the few bodger 1 on 1's :p. Congrats on winning, your team is certainly much faster then mine :D.

yeh, i was worried though when bodger managed to comfortably beat most of my defenders from side on. There were a few chances squandered by your side. I was just amazed by how quick your side was. Just left my side trailing behind.

Hey come on, it was a darn close game ;) Actually it could have gone either way :) Your players had some nice chances and so did mine. My strikers just managed to convert some with abit of luck :)
The 1 vs 15 shot doesnt mean a thing. It was probably more like 6-10 shots or something :) You could have beaten me with your main team :) Anywho, I look forward in playing you next season. Mayhaps you'll beat me 3-0 in our next encounter.

Oh and btw I want to continue playing Aussies. Maybe we should all switch opponents or something :)

yeh it is but then again having my keeper injured and my best defender / passer injured for 13 days didnt help either :p. Was a great game none the less and your side is far superior to mine atm :).
