I found a new page I didn't know existed within finances.

In 2 weeks of this season, I have made half the amount of sponsorship money that I received in the entire last season.

Surely this can't be right, why have they made it such a big difference between leagues? No wonder it took so long to get to the top league
2022-06-26 04:22:46
It’s not the league so much. It’s based on number of supporters. Bots don’t get supporters and now you’re coming up against sides with lots of supporters (especially the top 4 in the league). Just so happens that supporter sizes determine everything financially. If you think you’re getting heaps now should see what the leagues in Poland get

Edit: Australia is small in users and as a result there is a noticeable jump between div 2 and A league, especially more so with 12 team leagues and will be out all older bots with newer bots that have less fans.

$446889 a couple of weeks ago, but it was fleeting, back under 400k due to "not winning by enough"/playing bot teams and impossible to win by enough.
Good to see the Australia tax is in full force even within a game

How embarrassing.

Only "The sponsors paid into club`s account a total of70 139 $. 2023-03-25 05:10:10" for a division 2 league in sokker.

It's not like that in bigger countries.

Sponsorship for me here in Scotland has went from 180k per week down to 110-120k

A massive drop and a rise of 50% in player wages on top of that . Really makes you wonder what's going on

And that is in the top league?

Wow how do they expect you to keep up at all with that
2023-03-31 23:56:04
They don’t and that’s the issue. All these tests have been run off the polish league. True that is where a lot of the money is but what hasn’t been considered is ok those at the bottom will struggle but they can at least promote. Smaller countries really have no chance. You’d have to resort to a head coach with 1 maybe 2 unearthly skills tops (couldn’t afford a high wage), so training becomes single focussed. You probably would also need to be wary of youth player slots too. I also expect when Stevie quoted 180k that’s in euros? Which means it will be in the mid 200’s in our currency. Still sucks and why we need merges leagues more than ever. I still stand by that player wage increases should have been tied to last transfer price as that wouldn’t hurt smaller nations as much but oh well.

Thats in Pounds lads , and yeah top league

i think you are spot on cometer , this seems fully geared to the Polish leagues , small leagues are being shafted and it is almost like the owners dont really care at all . i got lucky last season and sold 17YR old for mega money , but it had been many years since i last had a good youth , i really hope things improve but i sadly cant see any benefit of the changes being made in the game , Ive been here since 2005 and i cant think of a time when things have looked so bleak

I'm not sure they don't care. I think it's they're looking at the macro level rather than the micro. So those of us on the extreme edges will feel every change. League restructure came because they needed bigger leagues to turnover quicker so people didn't get discouraged about needing 5-6 years to go anywhere. That in itself was a well intentioned change, they just didn't factor in what that means for everything else when bots come into the mix, since bots don't improve in fan base.

The attempt to control inflation came about because of the change of league structure so they had to correct what they had introduced. The consequence again was that those already hit financially by the league restructure take another hit here. There's only so many hits you can take before you end up sinking.

All these issues all stem from how all revenue is derived off the number of fans you and your league has and given bots don't gain fans smaller nations that end up with bots end up decimated.

Merged league will solve these issues for us to the point where these current changes aren't terrible but until that happens it's terrible for most of us. Watch them botch merged leagues too if that comes in because they're looking at the macro level again.

I will certainly be doing my best to make sure they don't botch a merged league process but in the end, I can only be an activist for it, what they end up doing will be completely in their hands

Fingers crossed though, because it's a great game, just imagine how much better it would be if you were in Poland, Italy or Romania

93k here (about 59k euro).

Pretty sure I started on a higher salary when I started the game

Maybe we could pitch to them to trial a merge on a smaller scale for three seasons so they can watch and learn. eg: perhaps just merge AUS and NZ

I'm all for change & development.... when you consult with those that are impacted.
Therein lies the issue from my standpoint.

If a trial merge were to happen, it would need to have a decent number of active teams at the end of it, aiming for 100-200 managers as the trial (more if not a trial).

Either way, the coding behind it all is what isn't in game yet. They could very easily just create a new country and move everyone there, but that isn't what anyone wants because it would kill the national cup and the national teams of those in the merge as well as remove so many NTs that mid range NTs would suddenly be on the bottom and complaining because they have never had to deal with not being in a comfortable position.
