Significant information
Malaysia have been rather involved in many competitive tournaments including the mini world cup and the u21 world cup qualifiers where they didn't manage to qualify. Of most note was their stunning victory over South Africa which proves their NT is getting stronger than it was a few seasons ago. With a healthy user base the trend is likely to continue. During the mini world cup they were competitive in the majority of matches and got through the group stage to run into Osterreich but slipped away in the u21 world cup qualifying where they didn't register a win and could only manage a draw against Nippon. From observations their main difficulty seems to lie in their defense, although since this is a competition game for them I'm unsure of how things will actually turn out. For the record their past 5 games have been:

which have included 5 goals for and 14 goals against.


As for ourselves, a disappointing loss last week against Sverige in what could have quite easily worked the other way, after we took an early lead. Last week our defense let us down, although we are still struggling to create enough chances to win us the game. We've slipped a lot in rankings which is not a good sign ahead of the world cup qualifying matches next season. Still 2 or 3 good wins should put us back up where we need to be. Our past 5 matches have produced the following end results which has resulted in 3 goals scored and 13 goals conceded, which isn't a pretty record.
