Asunto: Youth players

I just realised I have a youth that has not popped once in 15 weeks...which means his talent may be even worse than that since its he didnt even get the first pop. I dont know if I should just sack him now or keep just out of interest. Hes got 8 weeks left in the school and is adequate. I'll try and make a decision by popular vote:

Everyone vote 'keep' or 'dump' :)

Geez, 15 weeks!!!!!! I would of sacked him 7 weeks ago.

he was on adequate so i was at least thinking id get a solid for a while...then he sort of slipped under the radar as I was too busy looking at my potentially incredible youth :)

dump

I've kept a similar guy before and it really wasn't worth it for the 15 seconds of morbid curiosity once he's been pulled.

Looks like your standards are higher than mine ;)

hah i have another one -- 0 pops in 10 weeks, but hes sitting on good and has 7 weeks to go...so might just keep him and hope for a solid.

its funny 3 of my most talented youths all started at 'weak' or 'poor'!

poor - talent 5.25 with VG coach 5 (5pops)
poor - talent 4.5 with VG coach(3pops)
weak - talent 4 with VG coach(3pops)

Upgraded my coach to oustanding so hoping for them too keep the talents the same. If they do they should come out at very good, excellent and incredible respectively :) :) :)

Haha, ffs.

Elias Aloisi, age: 20
value: 296 400 AU$, wage: 3 600 AU$
club: Tollygunge, country: Australia
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

poor stamina, weak keeper
very good pace, very good defender
excellent technique, poor playmaker
adequate passing, very good striker

Magical +2. Shame about his age. Still gun, though.

Emil Schwarzer, age: 20
value: 139 600 AU$, wage: 1 960 AU$
club: Tollygunge, country: Australia
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

hopeless stamina, hopeless keeper
hopeless pace, good defender
very good technique, poor playmaker
solid passing, hopeless striker

Formidable +0. Not sure what to think of him.

Ready made player with presumably high talent. A bit more keeper than you'd like obviously, but its pretty good distribution all things considered.

Think he's a 3.3 talent, tbh. Was listed as 3.43 on SO, but I only have a brilliant YC, so...

Only complaint I have is the age. Well, as a magical, I knew he wouldn't be 16-18, but I was hoping he'd just scrape 19. Now he'll be 21 in like 6 weeks time.

Anyway, I'm going to enjoy training him. Expect him in the NT soon-ish, haha. :p

Well, as a magical, I knew he wouldn't be 16-18

actually, it is possible for him to be 18 if he started off as 16 when he came in the academy =p

Very nic eplayer mate, but im not sure if he will make it to NT if he is trained as a striker, so hopefully you will be training him as a DEF or MID. No doubt with a little bit in pass and pm he would make an awesome mid but he could make aan even better def as all he would need to be trained in is def and pace and he would be set

with the defending as a bonus there's a chance. Disappointing he was 20, but that's always going to be the risk with a magical.
