How on earth do you get hold of all these formidables?
2006-04-16 01:09:26
guys
whats the average training time in junior school b4 a player is released to play?

cheers
2006-04-16 01:18:20
Austin Powers adequate 7

;)

7 means that he'll go out after 7 weeks in school, on thursday. Adequate means his current level - good/solid is the minimum level to get some money form youth player. BUT level can rise to better one - that depends on junior coach.

In junior coaches the thin that matters is the main skill - for example

Cezary Pozorek, age 48
excellent coach

And excellent is good enough to be in youth school.

If you want to start your youth school:
coach1
coach2

You should start with second one, as you don't have much money at the moment. :)

thanks
so im guessing 31 weeks of training is not worth it?

lol

Jeremy Pierce average 31
2006-04-16 01:32:51
It for sure is! :)

With excellent coach he can pop once in 5 weeks - it makes 6 - 7 pops in school. That makes him formidable/outstanding - and you can get real good cash for that kind of junior. :)

ok
i understand

thanks again.

I've just changed my junior coach to this dude. I think he'll be good.

Josip Marrapodi, age: 58,
wage: 22 280 AU$
club: twofingers F.C., country: Australia
excellent coach

Training effectiveness:
unsatisfactory of stamina, outstanding of keeper
magical of pace, adequate of defender
average of technique, formidable of playmaker
outstanding of passing, brilliant of striker

Hm...quite big salary. I think that at beginning you may not be able to afford him :s
2006-04-16 05:33:52
yeh ive got a formidable coach for less then that. I think for an excellent you really should be looking at no more than 15k per week. Also to add on to borkos the longer you have someone in the youth school the higher chance they will come out higher. That is not to say a 31 week poor will come out better than a 6 week good necessarily. A lot depends on talent and then luck of the draw of skills, but generally a poor 31 should come out better than a poor 5 as there is more chance of popping , but this isn't always the case when talent affects training rate. Hope i didn't confuse you.

*Sigh*

All that waiting to end out with a very substandard formidable :(. I was expecting a little more than what i received and age doesn't help either. Will have to contemplate possible options before a decision is made. So much for a formidable looks more like a very good to me :( wasn't very lucky oh well have to wait for the next formidable i guess :).

Brad Okon, age 20
value: 106 000 AU$, wage: 1 560 AU$
very good form

poor stamina,
solid pace,
weak technique,
good passing,
hopeless keeper
average defender
tragic playmaker
adequate striker
2006-04-20 12:05:33
Pulled as Solid

Noel Ricoy, age: 19
value: 93 200 AU$, wage: 1 520 AU$
club: Tribe, country: Australia
very good form

tragic stamina, tragic keeper
excellent pace, average defender
hopeless technique, tragic playmaker
tragic passing, weak striker

The kid can run, but he doesn't look playable to me. Can anyone give me a reason not to fire him?
2006-04-20 12:18:17
You'll get some money in the TL, that's one for starters.

And yeah, very disappointing formidable there, Dave.
2006-04-20 13:34:17
You can get some cash, and you will get even more cash if he trains to formidable pace(1-4 weeks)

Better luck next time..
