problem is im training defenders...what im thinking is give him all the tech and pace training I can and then send him on his merry way to a proper home
2008-02-21 13:34:25
Alternatively i can turn him into a long term uber defender to bridge the gap between defense and midfield
2008-02-21 13:38:31
pace + tech + def certainly aren't going to hurt him.
2008-02-21 13:39:26
yup.
I'd propose making him a def mid, as Australia was weak in this section, only Widera at the moment...
2008-02-21 13:46:49
wats widera's skills like at the moment so i know what to aim at
2008-02-21 13:48:14
It is no longer just widera which is good for australia.

My player cunico is looking good, and O'Sullivan looks good.
Deeley is also heading that way, as he is the top of the U20 DM's in rankings at only 19

There are a few others, but they still have a little ways to go (as it is hard to tell whether they will turn into DM's or mids that have defence)

That's good then :) I remember one player, who was going to be very nice but he was wasted by his coach, who later resigned...can't remember his name though :/

With talent like that, don't give him up. He will love tech, pace and def... he'll lap it up! If you do sell him, please let me know in advance. [:)]

Nice pull for a change!
2008-02-21 14:52:51
im keeping for sure and upgrading coaches to give him and the rest the best i can afford. Tech, Defense, Pace in that order for this season
2008-02-22 06:27:34
Experienced managers>

Just interested, how much would he sell for now?
2008-02-22 08:04:31
my guess 1.7mill 2.2 with talent photo

But Im not the best when valuating mids
2008-02-22 09:06:15
I'm no expert on juniors at all but I'd say that valuation would go close given his great distribution.
2008-02-22 11:12:13
Let me know if you're keen to sell after a bit of tech. I'll be training passing and pm this season and pace and def next. Long term midfield training programme in place at the Roar now.
2008-02-22 14:19:49
very nice pull... now if all that stamina went into tech...
2008-02-28 06:54:59
Scott Stewart brilliant 1
Nick Scarparaolo excellent 1
Cormac Libbesson formidable 2

Almost there... (I started talking about this kid 20-odd weeks out you might recall)
2008-02-28 07:09:27
mine is still 18 weeks away... cant wait!

Eric Cain, age: 19
value: 58 800 AU$, wage: 1 120 AU$
club: Devil`s Angels United, country: Australia
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

tragic stamina, tragic keeper
hopeless pace, average defender
unsatisfactory technique, weak playmaker
tragic passing, solid striker

Good +6, talent unknown, but probably more than 6 since he only popped once. pretty good distribution, but gets screwed by talent and age. putting on TL
