Asunto: Youth players

Dud is a bit harsh...

.. but you're right I'm not swapping.

Sorry your guy didn't come out better :(
2008-03-06 07:57:07
You're training tech though aren't you? Should pop ridiculously quickly to good or so tech. Will be quite an awesome trainee when he's there. In fact I'll probably be interested in him after a season of tech.
2008-03-06 08:26:38
how much for Bocquee?
2008-03-06 08:33:17
Put it this way, he is way short of a Brilliant youth pull... His skills are 'averagely' distributed, but they are too low (stamina absolutely killed him). Also, he is 20.

Next season, he might have good tech, but personally, I don't see too much future for him.

Cloete> How much would you pay if he had good tech, and was 21 yrs old?
2008-03-06 08:46:14
You can certainly find worse brilliants on the "Juniors List" forum.

With his talent he may well bump in half his skills by next season as well.

If he was something like
21yo

6
5 - 10
7 - 9
9 - 3

early next season he'll sell quite nicely. (I can't give you an estimate as I'm at work)

Like naph said he'll get alot of randoms particularly if you have a really good coach for randoms (which I do but I trained tech last season so he's not really a good trainee for me).

Say he's like this next season:

Ross Barrett, age: 21
value: 188 000 AU$, wage: 2 520 AU$
club: Tong FC, country: Australia
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

adequate stamina, hopeless keeper
average pace, excellent defender
adequate technique, very good playmaker
very good passing, poor striker

You'll be looking at 3mil at least. if you get a playmaking, passing or defending pop then even more. It's hard to say with inflation but he's still a ridiculously good player. He's so talented as well though that you'll get more money if you include a screenshot of his talent.

I mean, I can see how you'd be disappointed for a brilliant but he'll still be an awesome player with a couple of seasons of pace and technique. Then you give him the def/passing/pm.

Maybe Naph has set the standards a little too high, but I will persist with him for a season then.
2008-03-06 11:15:43
You're really having a terrible week aren't you?
2008-03-06 13:14:22
no idea, depends on the bidding war :P
but do tell me what time i should put the bloke up on tl, so it would be the best time for you to bid on him :)
2008-03-06 14:18:59
He looks fine to me. Just someone you will have to train to see the benefit from... better off selling and letting others fight over him.

Pulled as very good [9 @ 5.5] (---/-----/----/)

Michael Harvey, age: 18
value: 53 600 AU$, wage: 1 040 AU$
club: Team Moose Power, country: Australia

weak stamina, hopeless keeper
poor pace, adequate defender
poor technique, average playmaker
weak passing, hopeless striker

Will sell. PM me if you're interested in him... free to a good home.

I guess he could be too expensive for me, anyway it's a great pace trainee (that would be my type of training).

but maybe it's a pity, this guy has to be trained in keeper! possibly the future Aussie goalkeeper :)

Outstanding +0 Talent 4.5

Damian Roberts, age: 19

hopeless stamina, tragic keeper
weak pace, good defender
poor technique, very good playmaker
hopeless passing, excellent striker

....bugger!! Would've liked something on the left skills rather than all down the right.

Outstanding +3 Talent 5.5

Chad Heffernan, age: 19

adequate stamina, hopeless keeper
hopeless pace, good defender
solid technique, tragic playmaker
good passing, average striker

....shame it wasn't def/pm or pm/strik....thought I might have got at least one better for two outstandings.

adequate +5 talent ?

Richie Hasleby, age: 17

I still think PM + passing is under-rated on strikers (admittedly you'd want more balance than 9/1) . Roberts could still be a very nice striker though.
2008-03-07 01:42:17
I think I'll list him (Roberts) as I'm not training striker or passing......better to go to somebody who can improve him.
2008-03-07 07:19:54
I could be having a lot better one ;)
2008-03-07 09:49:59
Brilliant 3.8 wk/talent. Listed.

Cameron Zdrilic, age: 18
value: 189 600 AU$, wage: 2 440 AU$
club: The Black Flashes, country: Australia
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

average stamina, unsatisfactory keeper
hopeless pace, poor defender
solid technique, very good playmaker
good passing, very good striker
