2009-02-12 14:56:19
so what do you guys reckon? a season or so of pace and a season of tech, or just a season of pace, or sell now?
2009-02-12 15:11:02
depends on the staff you've got at your disposal and your own training plans.

He definitely needs a season of pace and tech, yet he also needs a season of passing and playmaking.

He could work by getting pace and technique up then selling, I never know whether you get more now then you do in a few seasons. Perhaps take a look around at others you'd expect him to be like at 19 and compare those prices to what you could get now if you're interested in maximising profit.

He's a find though that's for sure.
2009-02-12 23:45:36
IMO you are almost always better off training for a while. But that's more of a gut feel thing than something I can actually back up with data.
2009-02-13 08:08:08
Formidable +2, Pops about ever 4.3 weeks, kept him for over 30 weeks.

Bobby Perre, age: 18
value: 158 000 AU$, wage: 2 200 AU$
club: Gondor Guardians, country: Australia
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

unsatisfactory stamina, hopeless keeper
very good pace, adequate defender
tragic technique, weak playmaker
poor passing, very good striker

Am training pace, which can't hurt him, but if he's better off with technique and someone wants to pick him up, let me know.
2009-02-13 10:03:53
If you have a spot for him, pace him up. Can't hurt and you'll get a few randoms too.
2009-02-13 10:54:41
2 out today...not sure I'm totally happy with the magical (being 20yo!).....but training def/pace so that's a plus.

The outstanding will be on the market either this week, or next if I train pace this week....mail me if interested in Hamilton, as he might be a likely NT prospect (?) for any striker trainer.

Ian Bunce, age: 20 (magical)
club: Melbourne Magpies
value: 217 200 AU$, wage: 2 840 AU$

adequate stamina tragic keeper
solid pace very good defender
excellent technique good playmaker
hopeless passing tragic striker

Andy Hamilton, age: 18 (outstanding)
club: Melbourne Magpies
value: 144 800 AU$, wage: 1 960 AU$

poor stamina tragic keeper
weak pace weak defender
solid technique adequate playmaker
solid passing good striker
2009-02-13 14:34:58
damn, if only the stamina in bunce were in pace or PM!
2009-02-13 14:38:14
Due to being very inactive for a while, I decided to go through my youth school and found that 10 of them were sackable (7 definites, and 3 that normally id keep and hope for nice distribution to sell due to bad talent).

That's one way to save 16k/week
2009-02-16 12:42:29
So you going to train for a bit? or sell. Either way works, just make sure you post in the transfer forum with a bit of time to spare before listing him, as I'm not sure how many Aussies may come up that I'm interested in
2009-02-16 14:42:58
yep gonna train him in pace and tech for probably a season each before selling. fear not, i want money for him :P
