Achmid [del] para

I'm interested, but I would be turning him into a defender. Not that it is a bad thing with the number of midfielders we have coming through
Also I'm not sure if I will be able to get online at the end time which would suck, but there are plenty more players out there

I don't understand if you have or haven't a lot of midfielders..
It seems to me like you said that you don't.. sorry if I have misunderstood you.

we don't really. We're short on midfielders, although Achmid was just saying we've got a few midfielders coming through the ranks from what I gathered and that training him as a defender wouldn't hurt too badly (as it may have done in past seasons). We're still short though and midfielders and defenders are very important to have in large quantities.
He could be either ;).

What would you like him to be?
Achmid's def or Orionci's mid?

mate try and buy him, I may not be here for it. I would prerfer him to be your mid (if you are going ot train him correctly) than someone elses player
Ok, I will try.
My training plan for next season is passing at least 7 weeks, then tech and pace.

if you're willing to put in massive yards of passing training (since it's extremely low) then by all means go for it.
Initially I'd have probably seen him as a defender purely because passing was incredibly low, although being 16 it gives a chance to increase passing at a pretty quick rate.
I really don't have problems in general about what they get trained as, so long as they do. The time I might complain is where someone has clearly 1 side and they try to train a different way (for example taking McLaughlin and turning him into a keeper for example :p).

F**k I was away from my PC.
Sorry guys.. [:|][:/]

It ended up being a 4-way bid war between 3 Polish guy and 1 Turkish...
net profit:
You sold the following player: Danny McLaughlin and received 1 614 720 AU$.
If anyone needed convincing about the benefit of running a youth school... well... there you go!

Again, most say not to run a youth school. I've always believed a youth school acts as a second income source and despite it's maintenance costs, you just need 1-2 gun pulls to produce income greater than you would elsewhere. The second valuable reason is it gives you the chance to grab some trainees cheaply.
Just my 5 cents worth ;).

I know I am making money of it (especially small countries as it does not take that much to pull what we would call a gun that could make the U-21 side), but the most fun of it is to pull a player that you know will become great for your side. Byers and Cowman for me are more fun to train that the other guys I've bought.
and griffiths has got me thinking whether i should switch to midfielders...
Out of interest, how much did you hoard away from all those Stephenson transfers :p. Must have been an awful lot ;).
Yeah that's the other thing. You probably get more satisfaction from raising your own born and bred. I've enjoyed training up Bowen and Necevski, both local youth pulls.

I enjoy pulling good players for the NT and myself but it comes to the point where hanging to them is stopping the evolution of my team... I start seeing them as $$$ now and attaching them less emotional value.
It's probably why I sold that 16yo today since he could have been trained and sold later on for more.
