Asunto: Youth players

2009-08-06 10:08:09
I could kill his age. Should I keep him anyway?

If you've got the space in your training plan without sacrificing a better player then there's no harm done, although with tragic tech, hopeless pm and 1-2 weeks away from being 20 it's likely an uphill battle to get a lot out of him.
2009-08-06 10:12:39
All my foreign trainees are better of course. Devestated. I haven't pulled one decent youth this season. Very frustrating. I certainly haven't made any money this season....
2009-08-06 10:18:10
My youth school costs me $90k a week. That is $1.4 million a season. That would buy a frickin amazing trainee every season.
2009-08-06 10:22:25
Nah it wouldn't. Would buy a good junior but not an amazing one. Most top juniors are going for truckloads due to everyone chasing higher talent.

That 1.4 million needs to then get reduced based on how much you sell your current youths from the school for, so it's possibly dropping that figure somewhat.

I second that, the market is high for amazing trainee.
2009-08-06 11:43:14
relatively poor season YS wise for me this season as well, only 1 youth worth keeping. maybe its the system balancing me out for all those seasons of uber pulls ;)
2009-08-06 11:47:13
I'm getting an incredible next week... I really hope he's young!
2009-08-06 11:47:56
Probably reflects life eh? Everything goes your way for a while and then the barren spell comes.... Next season better be a flippin' cracker for me.

The sad thing is, I couldn't pull out of the youth system if I wanted to. You have to stay around to see out the crackers coming through, and whilst you were waiting you would get a few more coming through that you would have to see out... and the wheel would turn forever....

Radcliffe not too bad for a defense trainer training defense, pace and tech. Could also be turned into a striker I suppose with tech/pace and striker.
