Asunto: Youth players

If Ngo was mine I'd have no qualms in making him a Mid.
2009-12-10 10:43:55
Yeah the distribution is nice. Trouble is he'd probably be made into a Defensive Mid. I'm a little disappointed that he wasn't slightly better. If that excellent was on defending I'd have been laughing.

As it stands I'll probably do 3/4 or a season of pace before I make the switch to tech for a while so he's definitely going to stay with me. He's only the 3rd highest 18 year old mid in the Australian NT database.
2009-12-10 10:47:25
Yeah, definitely more potential as an offensive mid than a defensive one.
2009-12-10 12:04:05
from memory these youths stay the same age into next season?
2009-12-10 12:07:25
no. They age with the senior players.
2009-12-10 12:21:06
that's rough.
2009-12-10 12:23:39
well not really. They get extra weeks so it's actually more plausible they come out younger.

What is rough is getting new juniors into the youth school now with 34 weeks ;). That means their minimum age is therefore 19 if they were 16 when they entered.

haha nah found what it was, stupid less than sign.

Anyways I meant to say that anyone with less than 32 weeks that comes out now has been in the school for almost the maximum without ageing too much so there's every chance they'll be between 17 and 19.

One youth not worth mentioning....on the TL & will be fired if no sale.

The bigger quandry is the amount of youths that have dropped a level with no change in coach??

One player from adequate to very good this week, after dropping back from solid to adequate the previous week....all with a magical junior coach.

Not a big fan of the new system I've gotta say!
