Couldn't you have spared us the envy? =(
2006-07-13 10:36:21
I've gotta say that Tribe is lining up a a-league winning team just by pulling players from the youth squad!

Me jealous? Nooooooo. ;)

Why the hell his tech is tragic? :((
Though....it should pop every 2 weeks till average...

Looks like we will be seeing a lot of "Croxall has a fantastic effort at goal.
GOOOAAAAAAL!!!" coming up.
- Achmid

Croxall comes on as a sub to play the 2nd half.

Croxall just manages to reach the ball first. Croxall takes a swing and hits it...
GOOOAAAAAAL!!!

Croxall takes over possession. Croxall shoots.
GOOOAAAAAAL!!!

I like this kid already :)

Frankly, naphtali, I hate you :p

You're training technique aren't you? The thing is, with excellent playmaking he's likely to shoot earlier and as you train his striking after technique, the more that goes up the more dangerous he will be from out of the box. If he shoots early in space with his pm from out of the box he'll be a machine. He can get in behind the defence as well with his pace (after he learns how to control a ball :P)

Hence I think my ill feelings are justified :D

Yeah I think I'll only get his technique to ~adequate-good before I switch to pace for a level or two then on to striking. (My other young forwards probably need the pace more than the striking, at the moment)
2006-07-16 15:38:13
Yeah technique isn't too crucial atm really. It's not like he's going to have any chance of dribbling defenders in the A-League so you just need him to be able to control the ball.

Of course I'm sure the NT coach would think differently :P

:@

so around what level tech do people think is needed for a player to control the ball most of the time
2006-07-18 07:06:38
