Asunto: Youth players
I meant for example: junior A spends 20 weeks, and has a net increase of 5 pops; hence ~4 talent? Won't it be really advantageous if a junior suddenly gets a triple pop on the week he is due out?
I thought it was just my Sokker Organiser playing up with all those double/triple pops/drops, after I had been away for a few months. And I was getting excited when my 16 year old seemed to have 2 talent. :( Shoulda known that was impossible.

Regression solves some of that issue. The more weeks you have the more accurate it becomes, though it's still not as accurate as before when talent was able to be accurately calculated.

Yeah he'll get training, pace for the rest of this season and then probably striker next season.
If I can't train him properly I will release him.

Can't have true talent under 3 and it's pretty rare for anything significantly less than 3.5. Think 3.1 or 3.2 was the best known so far. However this new system is impossible to accurately pinpoint.
I would think O'Grady is a striker with pace/tech and striking, though probably unlikely to make U21's (depends as our striker stocks are quite low). Could be turned into a defender though by training pace/defense. Would probably give him his better chance of U21 duties though.
I don't really think Francis has much hope, unless he gets turned into a striker. Turning 17 shortly too which makes it a bit more difficult given his low skill count. I wouldn't rule him out but I'll be surprised if he makes U21.
Upto the U21 managers to confirm this though as I'm only going by past knowledge.

Even has the height and age on his side. Striker trainers please look at taking that if you're not intending to train him yourself jkhtong1 ;). He'll make U21's I'm positive. Should if his talent is reasonable be triple magical by 23-24 possibly sooner.

Not that I didn't already know that already. I'd had that pinpointed after the 2nd week. In saying that I didn't have the defense and so consequently had to drop him back into the back row for the remaining weeks and then couldn't capitalise on his midfield skills. I'm unsure what to do here, though if anyone is interested he came out as outstanding (no idea of talent since I haven't run a regression over the weeks. Could work it out tomorrow).

I have a 19 year old magic/unearthly coming out middle of next season :)
I'm glad this youth season isn't a few weeks longer. I'm going to lose 1 of my guns next week and I'll be down to 12 players depending on how saturday goes. I'm keeping weaks just so I can fill a team :(

Naph> Hilarious that your guy went backwards...
SX> I might keep Middleby for a short while, and train some pace to test his talent. I'll post in the trade forum when I'm going to sell him.
