i thought the highest possible level at entry was good?

Haha, not since the new youth system as it's all "estimates", therefore those estimates can be + or - a few levels from the true level.

The true level can still only be maximum of good at entry. So the coach is clearly overstating that player and you can expect him to fall in the next few weeks :).

let's just hope he's highest at whatever level....16 weeks at 16yo could bode well for the NT set up if skills are distributed well enough...fingers crossed.

And you are right ... highest possible level is good . This is wrong estimation from juniors coach . It is very possible to pop down next week :)

actually, I wouldn't mind about level, I'd be more concerned with talent. Levels will be irrelevant if he comes out 17 and hugely talented :).

which begs the question....my coach is magical so why the distortion in level? I thought the better the coach the better the estimation of skill.

Given he's never played a game I don't think any coach could accurately predict his level and it would be very easy to mistake his level. The magical coach will get a better estimate the more games the player plays, but should give a more accurate reading then some weaker coaches.

Coach estimation depends on 2 things :

1) General skill of caoch (magical is yours)
2) Games that the player played .. more games , better estimation ;)

I just can't wait! Oowie's got a player with my name comming up soon! He's jsut as talented as I was in football! :)

I have a 16 yr old in my youth school who is a tragic...was trimming my squad and i was just about to axe him when i noticed his rating in the last game he played....a 27 in defence. interesting!

Means he will get the change in not long to end up at the bottom of the lowest division in the country! ;)

I actually did that with the team I played for in Norway. Eneded last in my areas bottom division. :p
