You seem to be bit confused about probability, may be it's a language barrier or something, but you might ask some mathematician friend how to calculate probability, you might be surprised that the number of "tries" is a key value in the equation..It's also common sense..
No it wasn't me being confused with probability, but I certainly wasn't thinking about consecutive games. I had been thinking of 1 game at a time. That is, ignoring what has happened in the past, the chance of getting injured in the next game is the same of the first. However, I am happy enough to admit that when you factor your way in then yeah, my explanations weren't entirely accurate. Lesson to be learnt, never attempt to use mathematical problems late at night :).
Nobody plays player just in U21 match, that would be waste of player's potential, so your math is wrong.
1 man's experience is quite not big enough sample..may be ask managers on int. forum what they think about injuries in NT, you'll hear different stories..
I'm only saying it's a double edge, bonus training (which is fairly small bonus, if you train "normally" league+NT) vs. injury risk, it's up to you to decide, but not everyone is as lucky as you.
If we knew precise %'s of training for friendlies and league games we could work out how many games a season one would need to make one option more beneficial then the other. The 95/90 split to me doesn't seem correct, I'd be thinking it's a lot less personally.
Anyway, my point wasn't to say they play just U21 match. My point was usually U21 players aren't good enough to play in most people's first XI squad and so usually won't play the most competitive fixture, therefore only playing the friendly. The friendly + U21 NT is definitely more beneficial training wise (excluding injuries) then just a friendly. As to whether training is more beneficial then injuries it depends on the frequency of injuries. In my case with most of my players getting injured 1 time over 12 or more real life months the training is definitely more beneficial.
The fact keepers avoid the risk of the most common type of injury adds further weight to getting the NT training.
Asking managers on international forum produces biased results. No one complains about not getting injuries and people always make exaggerations about injuries. There are ways of reducing injuries and I refuse to believe that everything is down to luck because it's not.

I already announced its sale in Italy forum.
But I need know that:
- random pop-up?
- attack since it snaps?
- extra and special training?
- talent?
thanks! :)

Math equation can solve lot of arguments:-)
My point was usually U21 players aren't good enough to play in most people's first XI squad
Good point, although not a rule, I'm playing my 18 year old South African in A team, I know lot of managers playing U21 players in high divisions (and sacrificing the results a bit for that player) but of course it depends on the quality of the player.
The fact keepers avoid the risk of the most common type of injury adds further weight to getting the NT training.
Probably true.
As to whether training is more beneficial then injuries it depends on the frequency of injuries.
It certainly does, I think the frequency of injuries is way down in the new engine..I use to have period when my players were injured every week for 20+ days for the whole season..now it almost doesn't exist..In U21 it's also way down, although I just had couple 30 days injuries recently..so it still does happen..sure it's objective, but there is no other way to know..don't know about any study concerning injury frequency..
There are ways of reducing injuries and I refuse to believe that everything is down to luck because it's not.
I also belive that, nevertheless your player in U21 is in hands of another manager who might not believe that as strongly:-)
Concerning pace training being affected by age more than other skills I have my doubts now:-) I talked to 2 managers in Czech who made some studies about training and they are convinced it's just a myth in the sokker community..they said pace is obviously slower but affected by age just as much as other skills..so I might be wrong..although I know lot of poeple who think it's the other way around..

jkhtong1, you have many Australian players under 21 very strong, but they are not up to date or do not exist in the NT DATABASE:
- Morgan Haddleton, age 21
- Shaun Grierson, age 20
- Hugh Erdogan, age 19
- Lewis Price, age 20
- Jacob Yates, age: 19
Would you be so kind to send me skills of your player? Help me and help Australian NT under21… please…

Haha, careful Tong, you'll find him getting into fights in pubs. Then he'll become one of the best of all time.
Dry spell. I'm down to 16 juniors. Only one real talent... 6wk 17yo incredible.
Hoping he'll be magical.

Thank you so much jkhtong1 on behalf of myself and the entire Australian community! Your Under21 players are among the best in the DATABASE. I hope you be able to training them the best!
For next season (we must qualify for the next World Cup!), the following players are very important for Under21 NT and, in my opinion, they need some improvements (sorry if I write here, but it's the only way I was able to get in touch with you):
Shaun Grierson, age 20, need more attack
Hugh Erdogan, age 19, need more pace
Jacob Yates, age 19, need more playmaker
Lewis Price, age 20, need more playmaker
I hope you can all training them. If you do not can do it, I can help you to find a new buyer who can train them to the best!
Thank you again! It made me really happy that you responded to my request! thank you!
