why do you guys sell such youths?
he seems like a quality prospect for u21/NT and he'd probably get best training if he was trained by an Australian... instead god knows what will happen to him in Azerbaijan :P

So in this case naph doesn’t actually play much these days. More or less keeping their club as a place to spot out youths. We generally do try to pick up players that are Australian and train them in house so to speak (often at the detriment of our own sides).
Edit: Other times we just don’t have the money to compete for the player to bring them in and train them or we’ve already got a full set of trainees.

Yeah as cometer says, naph has been sticking around as a youth school for us.
I had chatted to other Aussies and one was set to pick up him. Looks like they were pipped by a single bid after a "big" deposit.
However chatting to the new owner, they should be a good trainer. And being the U21 coach shows they also have interest in young trainees

Ah, I get it, had no idea naphtali is semi-retired, one from the good old days :)

Great player, planning on training him?
#2 U19 ATT - with his sublevels and secondaries, he is probably #1
#3 U19 MID - would be difficult to catch the top 2
#5 U19 DEF - with some sublevels, he may be right up there with the best couple

I'd happy to take him on, if he was available for sale. Will provide pace in the first place.
I'm leaning towards keeping him... just can't work out what position to make him into!
Reckon I’ve ruled out making him a mid as I doubt I can get him to level for my first eleven.
Defender is appealing as I can get him there quickest.
Striker appealing also as they are so expensive at the elite end of the market… but can I get him to that level?

I'd go with striker, if I were you. You won't have to touch secondaries like ever and focus on the 3 main skills. Let me know if you ever change your mind about selling. A decent coin is just waiting to be spent.
Not so outstanding, talent 3.9
