Asunto: Youth players

Made a little bid;)

If you like this game, you had a lot of luck with this youth - he can fund you a really decent start, but it would be good if you got someone to guide you (Achmid? Cometer?)

For starters, don't spend the cash on the stadium! ;)
It would be best to invest it in ten 16-18yo youths for training and get a decent main coach for them with at least 2-3 unearthly training skills

Hope the money you're getting will help you kickstart in the game and will bring you more reasons to log in a little more often. Good luck mate :)

Too even to be of value as a 19 year old I imagine. Was an Excellent when pulled

Even distributions can often be good for mids/defs but yeah at 19 he’s probably pushing his chances with that current distribution. Almost always it’s better to get 16/17yo than 19+ unless the 19+ are talented/ come out as a high level junior (incredible+). 19 is the new 20 after the shortening of seasons.

Are we going for att with Bonetig or any other ideas as a NT prospect?
2023-08-11 13:13:04
Striker or winger are best options, I'd stick with striker
2023-08-11 13:15:54
Agree, I think striker too

Well done mate. Big $$ though.

Useful stash for eddie though. Word of advice, don't blow it on a single player or on cosmetic adjustments like stadiums etc. Spend it wisely on either a whole bunch of trainees (trying to keep as much of the $9m as possible so you don't ever have to deal with bankruptcy), or alternatively spend it on older players to make your team competitive at least in div2 level but again don't go overboard because you'd be better off investing in younger talents and train them up and sit in div2 a bit longer and stash the remaining cash for a rainy day.

Cheers eddie for sharing this guy with us, even though you're not the most active person around here. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't know such a player existed. Haven't been following the TL lately due to lack of time, so you get all the credit for bring him to us.

Still surprised you 9m was paid for someone we don’t even know the approximate talent of. Seems like a risky investment at that price and then the profit margins on a future resell are probably pretty narrow. Sure profits not everything but if he’s not talented he’s not going to turn out great anyway. Hope I’m wrong and he is talented as we need everything we can get here.
2023-08-12 06:26:58
Given he didn't just place a straight up bid of 9M I'd say that is market value.
At 16, he is going to pop quick regardless so if he slows down enough, Vampyr will still get out without a big loss.
If he ends up being talented, his resale value could be double or more.

I think it's actually a fairly smart buy with close monitoring.

And then there is also the other reason, Vampyr is an honorary Sk-Australia manager :D Has done a lot for Aus and takes a lot of pride in training Aussies and helping us move forward too. Some incredible youths have been trained for a period of time through the training at his club.

Nice player there and great prospect for the future if he's talented. 15 sumskill for a 16yo striker is pretty high from what I've seen.

This guy has confirmed talent of 3. 11 pops over 34 weeks! Pulled as brilliant. If only he wasn't 20yo.
