Both my "good" players were pretty bad (neither managed to attain the lofty heights of an adequate skill rating) and have been listed.

On the other hand I had a guy pop for the second time that puts him on track to come out outstanding in just... 26 weeks.

not too bad although he really needs stamina , pace , tech and pm to be any long term player for your side and popping every 8 weeks is fairly untalented so that makes things longer to train.
