I’d attempt to sell that actually. Pace/tech and passing are all ok. Pm is terrible but trains quickly. You might get a nibble.

I mean he could be by end of season something like 6 pace, 6 tech, 8 passing and 6 pm. I mean I’d consider that if I was looking at an 18yo. Probably I’d be looking for 8s but it’s not so far off that.

I’d try and sell or potentially even better train pm for the rest of this season and then sell. Unfortunately that later option requires being able to train pm which might not be possible if you’re training other skills to mids.

As luck would have it, I haven’t sacked & only just moved Corica from MID to ATT training, leaving the 1 MID trainee getting Tech training, but options are there as their current skills are -

One issue is PM being only skill I don’t have a trainer for…unless I use youth coach.
That said, my head coach & youth coach are retiring…my best assistance can cover 3 training skill sets as head coach if it takes a week or so to find replacement head coach. Only need to find new coach with 2 or 3 ‘other’ skills.
Thankfully late overseas friendly means I can get him in for today’s match!!

Not fantastic.

You don't need to worry about PM until players get older. If you don't train PM, you can still focus on the other skills which train slower, then sell to someone who can train PM at around 19 or 20yo.

Good to know. Bonus I could get him in for today’s friendly as it’s a late start.

If you want to train PM, go for it. Just saying I wouldn't see it as a reason to sell a decent 17yo. I think most managers focus on pace in the early years anyway, as is the slowest to train.

That's what I'm doing for my talented young MID trainee anyway.

If you’re planning on keeping then sure training order isn’t too important. Pace probably takes priority. I was saying pm on the sense that if you wanted to sell you’d get more by getting pm to make the player appear better skill wise.
