Don't think any are amazing enough at this stage of the season. OConnor might be the best of them, would have to take a look at talent estimates.

Looks like a defender who can replace keeper in case of double injury :D
That could have been a LOT worse. Was totally expecting all of keeper/pace/pass to be at least VG if not all Exc.
I'd say most likely a defender but striker isn't out of the question.

Is he now better at penalties because he has keeper expertise :p.
Defender, Striker or GK take your pick. Probably in that order too, though striker could be really handy with the extra defense and you wouldn’t need to train passing or pm.
Striker is 3 skills training, defender is 4 skills training. Make of that what you will given he’s a late 18yo.

Could be handy to use as a GK slot training if all your other positions need primaries and Snowball needs pace/passing :p. Few interesting options can be pulled there training wise.
I can give him some pace to start with. How's he fit vs the other 18yo strikers and defenders?
Would have been a disaster if pace and passing were swapped.
Holmes and D'Arcy were 9/8/9 striker at this stage. He's not far off that, so maybe he can make it as a striker who can tackle (and fill in between the sticks).

Snowball
#2 GK
#2 DEF
#2 ATT
He could make a great GK but all the other skills would be wasted
If he were 19, say with 2 more skills in each DEF and PACE, he would be 2nd only because of slightly worse secondaries
If he were 19 with 4 extra skill points towards ATT skills, he would be somewhere between 3rd-5th
Probably means he is probably best as a Defender long term.

If he would be #2 DEF in 19y range, this does mean that this generation have quite bad defenders :(
Selling? Need to make some room and rearrange training sometime soon anyways.
Nah that is pretty standard actually. Most of the defenders I used to get to the final 8 were this level or worse at the same age. There would have been 2 exceptions maybe, one which was completely out of form throughout the entire finals and the other is just an amazing player.
These are the challenges of managing a small nation and why I believe the only way to prove oneself as a top manager is by completely overachieving with a small nation.
Given enough attempts, almost anyone can win with a pot 1 team, but managing a small nation, a single injury or card can cause you to use an "excellent (10)" defender instead of an "Incredible (13)/Brilliant(14)" defender
And don't even think about them having secondaries haha
For many seasons, I saw fresh pulls in other nations be better than MIDs I was using at 21yos. Even now, our #2 MID could almost be beaten by a fresh pull.
It's much harder making a tactic that suits the few players you have on offer (seen in small nations) compared to creating the right tactic and finding players who suit that tactic (seen in larger nations and seniors)

Maybe my perspective is skewed coz of Ishida, but I see Your point.
Also one more question, did You have a time to peek into bot teams and release some youngsters on Saturday with recent changes?
Based on value+wage there could be some players worth it :)

Unfortunately I don't have time for this with an exam on Tuesday.
I have regularly in the past gone through every single bot team to identify players and try to get them 1 game in case they are quickly replaced.
There were a couple who if this happened a season ago, would have been worth releasing.
However if anyone wants to scout and send me some links, I could check them out and add to the NT side to hopefully get released. I suspect there will be about 40 worth looking at based on value/wage for age, but only 2-3 worth trying to save

Not selling. With his proven talent, I have to train him.
I'll sell Coleman instead. Current U21 WC quarter finalist, who needs defender training.

Anyone interested in training #3 20yo DEF, please msg me.
