Asunto: Youth players

In a similar style as "bargain or robbed" I have this junior that is adequate with 20 weeks to go... he has popped once the first week but none the last five weeks...
reject or keep?
2007-06-15 01:31:12
6 is average talent with my youth coach. If he pops next week and every 6 weeks thereafter he'll come out excellent. Even if he pops every 7 or 8 weeks he'll still come in very good. That's normally good enough for me to keep them. If he takes longer than 8 though I'd be showing him the door.

id agre with naph here. VG or above is worth keepin, even with a dodgy talent, because whou you sell them too doesnt know that :P

For the record my "Formidable" Vince Hill sold for $4400 .... fantastic ROI on a guy that was in the youth squad for 30 weeks.

haha bad luck mate. I guess the good ocme with the bad (ie garland, croxall, hirons cant remember any others)

But eh, that is a little annoying, who knows, maybe someone wil train them and you will get a nice little present later on in sokker

William O'Neill who is still on the team is becoming reasonable.

Sold David Midtsian (who I trained for multiple seasons) for 680k
Clint Skoko (again trained for a while) 400k
Vince Harnwell (keeper) 308k

All drops down to ~100k for a few after that.

Would have been a very different team if I hadn't picked up Hirons, Garland and Croxall early. (I had plans of becoming a mid trainer)

My youth squad is producing some RL australian players.

Simon Colosimo weak 1 Reject
Marco Schwarzer poor 10 Reject
Archie Vieri good 19 Reject

Colosimo looks like his skill will be about right.
Schwarzer will be nothing like the real thing.
My Archie Thompson/Max Vieri love child looks to over talented.
