Unlucky with the combination there I think :(
2007-07-12 13:36:40
does that mean he came into your youth squad at very good if he only popped twice? mmmi thought solid was the highest
2007-07-12 13:47:05
It means he only got plus a few weeks ago :P
2007-07-12 14:55:59
I trained Croxall up from the same technique. Having the defending will be quite nice later on.
2007-07-12 14:59:03
Magical coach!
2007-07-12 15:13:34
Yup, nothing wrong with the defending skill really, but I would have preffered to have that on Technique ;)
2007-07-12 15:13:52
No doubt, I'm getting one myself now. Can't have you running of with all the talents :p
2007-07-12 15:42:43
nah hes been around longer, i didnt take accurate data for a while and then started to again from where its marked :)

@Terje
yeah a tad unlucky with the defending getting the skill but i like a bit of defence on my forwards. On the whole no complaints hes a reasonable trainee and tiatto is due to be sold in the not-to-distant future

i disagree =p

defending isn't really a skill you train when training strikers while tech is. Defending on striker is really really useful is you position him right and tech is trained up to acceptable levels regardless.

so imo, its a godsend =D

Excellent +2

Shane Grierson, age: 18
value: 85 200 AU$, wage: 1 360 AU$
very good form

weak stamina, tragic keeper
unsatisfactory pace, average defender
good technique, good playmaker
adequate passing, tragic striker
2007-07-13 04:13:52
Couldn't agree more, having a striker who can tackle makes a huge difference especially if defenders have low pm and low tech, then it's a field day :).

A few nice pulls there, makes me wonder if I should upgrade my coach from my current level.

Alex Maninga, age: 18
value: 99 200 AU$, wage: 1 520 AU$
club: Tollygunge, country: Australia
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

average stamina, tragic keeper
solid pace, weak defender
good technique, adequate playmaker
tragic passing, poor striker

Formidable. A striker trainer could do him much justice though, tragic passing means he's virtually untrainable as a mid.
2007-07-13 15:14:55
Pulled as excellent. Pretty nice combination of 2 good skills. Shame he's 20yo but he'll get some technique training from me before i might sell him off.

Andrew Prentice, age 20
value: 144 000 AU$, wage: 2 080 AU$
very good form

hopeless stamina,
very good pace,
weak technique,
hopeless passing,
tragic keeper
tragic defender
unsatisfactory playmaker
very good striker

yeh nice player, he would probably make a great trainee and even first or 2nd string striker for you. he would work well in div 3 and be a nice 2nd striker in div 2
