Asunto: Youth players

eh i would definitely say best as a mid. midfielders are really nice when they have around sold VG defending.

when you go on to train def, if you wanna sell, give me a yell, and ill try and get some cash to buy him

The popping rate of Rudnicki appears to be closer to 4.4 weeks/pop not 3.33. At least from what you've drawn it as.

Still a pretty neat pull :).

My bad, I've edited it.
2007-08-03 09:34:02
He'll fit in perfectly with what you're training. If you can get his technique to very good, then go onto your playmaking training and get him to about formidable then you can train his defending for a season and after that season get a whole season of passing onto him. Will be an excellent Defensive Mid if you can stick to that sort of schedule particularly if he is that talented.
2007-08-03 09:36:28
So.... what's the price of this Rudnicki? :)
2007-08-03 10:41:20
At last a good def-mid prospect for the NT! :)
2007-08-03 11:27:26
I'm interested too as I'm training tech, but with the interest around he might cost more than I can afford. :(
Definitely train him as a mid 'though, good mids are hard to come by.

Formidable defending, formidable pm and divine passing. That's what you should be aiming for.
2007-08-04 03:03:32
Thanks for the advice everyone and also for the offers to buy him, but I think I'll be keeping him , even though the temptation is there to sell. I could probably upgrade my crappy midfield if I sold him, but I'd never forgive myself for letting a future superstar go so he'll be staying in lowly Div III for now :p

2007-08-05 05:42:57
OK, I am going to ask a DUMB question.....please be "easy" on me.....what IS talent??..how do you KNOW what talent is??
2007-08-05 05:49:49
no question is dumb, no one knows the precise talent as that is hidden, all we can do is have a rough measure of working out who's more talented then other players, by calculating how many weeks it takes to pop between levels, excluding the first pop.

so if a player goes - - / - - - / - - - / - - - /
thats what people have been calling 4 weeks/pop.

We do know that higher talented players are better in that they improve faster than other players.

Hope that helps somewhat.

Hi Mate

Excellent, thanks for that...that makes sense. My blokes (on ave) all seem to take between 4-4.5, but he's a fairly good coach (I think), so I suppose I expect that he would churn out some handy ones, with good "talent"

This is my coach, he appears to be OK "all round?"

Training effectiveness:
formidable of stamina,
outstanding of keeper
solid of pace,
unearthly of defender
excellent of technique,
incredible of playmaker
incredible of passing,
formidable of striker

for junior school coaches only the general appraisal matters and the distribution across individual skills has no impact on the juniors being trained.
