according the the current table im 5TH?????? geezzz.. something must be wrong surely!! i can see heaps of better teams than me behind me !! ...... still good for the eyes !! lol .. but i dont take it seriously. it only means i play easier/lower teams than me in div iii and i dont lose too many points ...

I will just clarify that that is 5th in NSW and looking at those below you, the only teams I would say you are above that would give you a real challenge is Real Galah and Tong FC.

tong will continue to move up the table though the only thing holding him down is 3 extraordinarily good div 2 teams above him

thanks u make me feel better :) lol ... overall im 21st, but stats dont mean much to me, i'm not happy with my team, and need heaps of improvement, thanks to good advise from a mate, im now in a position to hopefully buy 3 or 4 good players in the off season... but, a step at a time.. first is fighting for promotion, which is bloody hard in itself !! ...

haha. Well good advice is great, but one thing for all teams to remember, if you are prepared to put some time into learning how tactics work, and prepared to change, in the current Sokker Australia, you should be able to hold a position mid table in any div 2 league

Exactly! Tactics count for so much in the lower leagues.

What about in higher leagues?

Being able to make your own tactic and make a decent one at that is pretty important anywhere.

For sure, tactics allow you to have a chance against better teams.

But you can get from div 4, to 4th-6th in div 2, just by making a pretty basic tactic. that is because bots, and non active players tend to use default tactics, or don't change their allowing for many weaknesses

I guess my point is that with a good tactic to suit your team, you can beat pretty much any team in divs 3 & 4. Really only the top 2 teams in div 3 will beat you consistently if you only have a starter squad.
