Yeah III.15 pride.

That's how I read it too aqbell. When I joined, I got used to seeing teams like FC de Bears, Tribe and Gondor Guardians at the top. I guess it's a message that no-one's safe and there's a growing pack of teams steadily improving and ready to seize the moment when their time comes. Now it's your turn together with achmid and Cloete to show your worth.

And don't worry snappa... take it from me, with an underdeveloped team, it's incredibly hard just to stay in div 2 let alone make any money and build your team. The fans desert you and it's pretty disheartening losing game after game. This way you get another season to build up the team and while it wont be much easier to promote next season, you'll have a small army of fans to sell out a big stadium with.
Stick at it, hone your tactics and I'm sure you'll be up again for another crack soon. :)

so in theory, chelsea, who have been in div 2 longer, should be able to beat you as they have had a longer time with better sponsors money and better stadium income

Yeh my first memories of the top teams were

Gondor Guardians
The Black Flashes
Forest Green Rovers
and there was one more (not sure if it was Sheff wednesday or FC de Bears)
2007-06-25 14:07:06
It would have been Sheff Wed
2007-06-26 16:42:01
Sheffield Wednesday never made it to the top-flight. Guess Dave and myself were enough to keep them at bay during their peak. But with a default tactic, they were never going to get very far.

They did manage to win the cup though, only a handful of teams have managed that and only 3 teams have managed to win the cup twice. Coca Kickers was another team doing well before their manager left.

Thanks Phoenix, I finally have a season where money wont be as much of an issue.
2007-07-02 05:44:10
Yeah, the money is way better in Div 2 then Div 3, I managed to upgrade my stadium, which i've been in debt ever since lol :S. But if it gets sold out in games, it'll bring in good money. Was starting to get a bit sick of loosing all the time tho, and so are my supporters, they're furious :S

Good lord no. I'm playing TBF.

Surely it's the tie of the round? :P
2007-10-07 12:42:09
Id say that my match vs krayzees would be, after all they contended with TBF last season for A-League promotion.

Then again, your match will be fairly good too.

The other match should be fairly one sided Id say
2007-10-07 12:49:10
Which league do I fall into?
2007-10-07 12:52:25
II.04 because that is where tribe is coming from.

If no teams were to come up from div 3, then your only problem should be frogmeisters, get through them and you will be in a qualifying match next season which would be great to see (as long as it isnt against me)
2007-10-07 12:53:54
Don't underestimate Salgacoar, tbh.

Just went through the results and 9-0 against Real Galah is something to be amazed of.
2007-10-07 13:03:42
true true, from memory, real galah is the team that keeps causing upsets so thats definitely convincing
2007-10-07 13:06:18
Frogmeisters look good. Looks to be a much tougher II than the one I came from originally.
