i must admit Sriram that using tactics hasnt been my biggest strong point, i guess thats why i lose games i would have thought i could have won
maybe i have to go about it a bit smarter in future eh :)

Nah, I think they're on at the time friendlies start.
looking at the teams going up and the ones already there I can see im really not ready for divII. But i'll try and get there anyway get some moneys and hopefully scrape a few wins somehwre
I just feel sorry for anyone trying to get into II.01 or II.03 as they are still both the strongest div 2 leagues by far. mind you, there is always room for improvement even within those league as you may have 2 teams promote and 2 teams thatarent as good or not as active, so i would say 5th isnt out of the Qn (and you should be able to beat the up coming div 3 team then to stay in div 2).
Atleast with the other leagues, you probably have a chance of coming 3rd even

Anybody going into II.01 will be stuck there for at least another 3 seasons... waiting for the top 3 teams to move on!! And that's not even factoring the A-League teams that might drop down... like TBF :O And then there's my own team :P
It's a long road, but rather profitable, since my sponsors were paying me $200k + at the peak of the season. ;)
Weener> You should be fine, your team isn't too shabby. Staying in league II is a likely possibility.

Indeed, qualifying matches occur at the same time as cup matches and friendly matches do.

You obviously haven't got a qualifying game today. [;))]
You mean cup matches and friendly matches right?
(To be really pedantic you also mean the same time of day on a Sunday, not "the same time").... sorry I'm entering my 6th hour of work on a Sunday.... *sigh*

which is exactly why im gonna get my butt handed to me on wednesday, regardless of first team, new tactics etc or not.... :(
naph: i guess you had a more depressing sunday than i had... a couple of hours in uni doing a group assignment doesnt seem as bad as working for more than 6 hours on sunday...

Been out of qualification matches for far too long :p.

haha sounds like the Sunday I had except mine was virtually all day due to group work.
Group work at uni bites, especially if they are assigned groups and you don't get to choose who you work with.
I decided to not even obtain a group for a few of my later commerce units and simply didn't submit anything for group assessments. Sure I missed out on 20%-30% of the unit's mark, but it was still easy to pass the unit (even get a credit in most of them) and saved me sooo much pain.

Im going to beat everyones week so far (well everyones lck of time week not so much bad circumstances in life)
with 6 hours of uni on thurs and friday, and getting called into work (an emergency centre) both those nights and again last night, I was held back 4 hours aftermy shift ended because it was so busy meaning I have worked 24hrs in 3 nights, 12 hours of uni over those nights and have the major report of my final year due tomorrow (paired assignment) so have slept about an average of 3 hours each of those nights to try and write this case report (which we have to attempt to get published by a veterinary journal).
Have fun topping that. I can think of things, but hopefully noone has had to deal with those things i can think of
