Asunto: Promotion/Relegation

On any given day, virtually any side can defeat any other. This is what makes sokker such an interesting game as you can start later than someone and still have a chance.

Sucks when it's never you're given day though. I waited 5 seasons for mine, still, it feels pretty good when it does arrive :P

haha tell me about it. In those last 15-20min when all the ball was suddenly in front of my goal,i was expecting them to score ither once to take it into overtime or twice to knock me out

Might be the start of a change in fortunes, you just never know.

Wow, there were a few surprises there! Krayzee had a good game against TBF but couldn't quite hold them out for long enough. I must say I'm shocked to see GG drop to Achmids Soul. Great result for achmid though and it caps off a great season for the team. Tribe vs Roar was always going to be a good battle... Tribe is sure to shake up II.04 a bit next season.


As for my game. I'm very relieved and very happy about the win. It was a 5-1 crushing in the end, but it had the potential to be a much more even game. I've never seen my team play so well. Henty was inspired by his game with the NT yesterday and it seemed to lift the whole team. It has given me great pleasure to know my team has what it takes to overcome one of the best div 3 teams.
I look forward to another season of hammerings in II.03 for season 10... and with Larikan joining the league, it's going to be even harder to stay off the bottom this time around!

II.01 may have picked up GG, but consequently lose Achmid and their auto-relegated team (Rapido) was averaging 5 points/game higher than ours (NK). That should keep things tight between the two leagues vying for the bragging rights.

I can't believe I have to go through another season in 3rd division. It was horrible before it even started, I had to completely change my team around because of so many injuries to my first team. Then in the 1st minute I get a red card, arrrggghhhh!!!! But my team fights on and scores, woohoo 1-nil. They hold out until the 89th minute and the opposition finally scores with only 1 bloody minute to go - damn it!!!!! We go into extra time and no further score, that's 119 minutes with the opposition having an extra man!!!! Now it's down to penalties, 2 all after 4 shots, then I proceed to miss the next 2 and go down 4-2 in the penalty shootout. What a way to go out!!!!!

Then on top of all that the mood of my supporters goes down to "Depressed", geez they're a fickle lot!!!!!!

Yeah you were really hard done by. Aside from a red card in the 1st minute and an 89th minute goal against you, both incredibly unlucky of course, the fact that you still totally dominated them made it even worse.

Honestly though I'm not sure you're ready for div 2. If you make a better (preferably your own) tactic next season I dare say you'll win your play-off game easily. You have quite a few young players in there as well.

Yeah I agree that I'm not ready for Division II, I think I would struggle to stay up and I'm probably not trying new tactics because I'm bored with playing the same teams, as well as not having Plus to be able to watch other team's games. I am excited about some of my young players coming through so I hope that will keep my enthusiasm going next season. I may even try some new tactics as well ;)

On another note maybe I should drop some of the online games I play so I'll have more time for Sokker Manager. I'm currently playing 2 soccer games, 2 cricket games and a horse racing game (this one takes up most of my time). But then again I'd just have to spend more time with the missus if I did that.

I was quite dissapointed that you lost that game. I wanted a bit of a shake up in the league. But it looks like i have gained a stronger team in Raging Parabolas for next season

I deserve my spot in the A-League. We'll find out soon enough whether I am good enough to stay here. Either way, I am happy to have made it.

yeh congrats agbell, its good to see you and roar in there, both of you have been vying for spots in A-League for as long as me, and we all promoted together, should be a great season, even if its only a cmpetition betwene the top 5 and the bottom 3

I think fresh blood is great for the A-League. It just proves that there is now more depth in Australia as teams in II are pushing harder to get up.

Nice to see Cloete make it up at the same time as me as he was in my III league when I first started.
