gutted :P

haha welcome to the world of striker injuries. Don't know about that injury but your other 2 probably came about due to low pace, high tech ratio against opposition defenders and midfielders. Biggest downside in training tech to strikers :(.

On another note seems a relevant title for me to vent my frustration on not being able to score from 12 shots. Most of them were fairly easy shots as well. Wasn't a great performance from my strikers this week :(.

If it's any consolation snappa, your strikers will have plenty of time to recover before they're called into action for the Cup. :)

Speaking of shots... 6 shots to 3 shots this game... and lost 1:2. Bugger.

Yeah your right, low pace and high tech. Both were original team members so they needed to be replaced anyway. Now they will be 2nd team starters next year.

Lucky it is near the end of the season and as Vivski said, plenty of time to recover.

Best striker injured for 22 days, 1st minute.

Now he'll miss my clash against the bitterest of rivals who're most probably going to the A-league next season.

O'Neill still out for another 14 days
Croxall injured today for 23 days

1/3rd of my striker trainees out is always frustrating.... looks like I'm stuck with more pace training for a while longer.

At least Hirons isn't injured now...

mate, i know how your feeling! Ive had 2 of my best middies injured in the last 2 games for both 25days each! im battling for top possy to get promoted...hope this doesnt affect my chances!

whats everyone else think?

Not only is he not injured, but he had a hat trick in his last game.

With Croxall out I'm just hoping he stays healthy the whole while. He's liklely to get his first 90 minute league game in a long while this Sunday.

bah, one of my best wingers gets injured just as one comes back from injury :( oh well that means the back up guy who danced past 5 people(goalie included) will be getting more games....
2007-06-18 11:24:24
lol bodger out and Byers injured during your most crucial game? I reckon thats a bit more frustrating :P
2007-06-18 13:07:54
Most crucial game was the cup final :P

Beating you by 5 goals was wildly improbable at best!

WTF! both of my first team central mids were injured in the same match for over a week! thankfully my next league match is against an admittedly not so strong side (ie bottom of table without any points) so i hope my team wouldnt miss them too much. their passing rating is already bad enough without me having to lose those two :(

It's times like this that the depth in your squad really pays off. ;)
