Asunto: Question about Form

chillz [del] para Todos
Just another question relating to form. What determines the form of your players?

Is there any reason why a player always has low form?
Is there anything you can do to increasing your player's form?

The Rules do not answer these questions.
Determines whether the player can take advantage of his skills in full. Players that are out of form will perform worse than they would if they were in a higher level of form.

From everything I have read on the forums:
1) Its completely random
2) No there is nothing you can do
3) It appears that there is an even chance of going up or down regardless of current form level
4) As a result of point 3 players tend to stay at one of the extremes once they get there
5) Yes it is agreed that point 4 sucks, there are frequent discussions about it on the bugs/ideas forum.

just got to ride it out :(

I splashed out on what is clearly my best defender about a season and a half ago and hes now in average form - the best form hes had since i bought him... :|

My best striker dropped from Divine form to poor in the space of about 3 weeks last season.

You can play them twice a week, once a week, no times a week, makes no difference

So if i have a player consistently in extremely bad form (tragic, hopeless etc.) there is nothing i can do about it?...

I thought form had something to do with how well the player was playing...but if its random oh well :(

I find crossing my fingers helps.

Nope nothing at all you can do about it. (Short of selling him and making it someone elses problem). I must admit I do think twice about buying a player in bad form, but by the same token you can sometimes find a bargain who turns it around when he changes clubs (again that's only random, not a way to improve form)

My best striker dropped from Divine form to poor in the space of about 3 weeks last season.

that almost describes what happened to Bodger [grr]

Explains what happened to Radosz for myself, and he's still down at tragic :(.

Augerinos was following a similar path until he got injured by Rex and has been reversing the form and is now outstanding form :). He always goes up form when he's injured, can't really figure out why. Most of my players go up form when they're injured unless it's longer than 20 days. Then they start dropping down again, but I could just be extremely lucky.

And to Pawlusinski. It took him 4 seasons to get back and now he has unearthly-divine for 3 weeks in a row.

Same problem was with Dreger, and Willis though it looks like they are moving up...:)
