Well I got whupped in the first half and should have been down more than 1 goal. Felt unlucky not to score in the second half though.

congrats to TerjeH and tigerTUFF for making the final. Think that might be also a new record for us as well as I believe (will have to do some verifying after I post this) that it's the most common Australia Cup final pairing with 2 finals now between TerjeH and tigerTUFF.

Will be a very close final. I understand that all yellow and black tiger fans get vip's into the game :p.

thanks mate. Great to get through to another cup final against a good friend. Hopefully this time i can square the ledger between us, no doubt it will be a tough match. I've lost 1 game so far this season in all competitions and that was against PRT.

Todays game was more difficult than the 3-0 scoreline indicated, Krayzee hit the post twice in the first 2 mins and had a defence that was hard to break down. The game saw both teams have a player sent off, his midfielder gave me even more acres of space in midfield, and for me my CD got sent off for the 2nd time in 4 matches. Got stretched horribly 2 or 3 times when my 1 remaining CD got pulled out of position but my keeper and the defenders covered quite well.

Bring on the final, looking forward to it!

I believe it was their central defender who was sent off and they had the red card order set and dropped the dm back to central defense to block the hole, was a very quick switch, but yes it left the midfield open and you took advantage from there. Was a good game to watch.

I thought so, but shrugged it off thinking i mustve been mistaken. This is going to sound very stupid indeed but i had no idea you could make red card orders :| Good to know as Pussini is going through a hacking stage :D

Yeah, I've known about it but haven't used it. Probably should learn to use it, might help this weekend.

Another all-Tigers final?

haha depending on the definition of tigers (ie tigers in team name or tiger supporters in the AFL) then i'd suspect this makes number 3 all tigers final ;). Otherwise, purely on team names this makes number 2.

All tigers final yes. TigerTUFF was the guy that got me interessted in AFL after I moved to Australia. :)

So all credit to him for that, and also eventually then for the team name :p

should be a great final to watch. You've been tough to break down with that new formation and mix of players, whilst tigerTUFF has been solid at the back as well and both have dangerous attacks even if a lot miss from both sides. Once again good luck to both of you as you've been the dominant sides in the cup this season.

And as an extra fun thing is that we both know everything there is to know about eachother. ;)

So no secret weapons or anything here.

I've got the defence, he's got the attack, and our midfields are not that big difference. ;)

Should be a good game like the one we had in the league this season.

I didnt know where to put this to get the attention of Australian managers...but...I'd like to play a team stronger than me in a friednly this Wednesday! Need to try out a few things and just see how I would fare in divII if I make it through this season. So divII and strong divIII sides I'm throwing down the gauntlet! :)
