quite true. Not much point firing from long range all the time as you won't get as many as put away shots. In saying that though, Augerinos let off a wild shot from close to halfway hit the crossbar bounced back to the edge of the box and Boutsianis latched onto it for a goal. Was a rather funny moment.

rather reminiscent of a paul scholes screamer? ;)

on another note, i'm pretty sure i can survive div III with my current level of strikers. of course i will get better ones in the future, but for now, they suffice.

PS i blame the opponent goalkeeper for the "lack" of goals, not my star striker :P

EDIT: bleh, didnt realize that yellow cards in cup games count as well.... which means my central mid is sitting out for the home game with FGR :(

Nearly had a huge scare...

Managed to score an equaliser with 5 minutes to spare, forcing the match into extra time. Another 2 goals in extra time sealed a 3-1 win though :)

Cruised to a 9 - 0 win, no injuries or cards to my players.

Pretty much hammered them across the park, and I wonder how many more I would have scored if I hadn't set my trainees to mid orders :o.

@sx890410 looks like we will not be meeting in australia cup :P why was villafane and papaluca on the bench?

I would suggest looking at making your tactic better since it looks kind of like a default tactic from here which isn't too good to use, as default tactics often have massive weaknesses which can quite easily be exploited and that might make a big difference to some of your results :)

In saying that though, it still appeared like you had your fair share of chances but couldn't finish them off :(.

yeah I know I didn't say it wasn't.
Just looks to have too big a gap in the defense like the default 4-2-4 does. I wasn't trying to be picky, I was trying to offer a suggestion for how it could be improved.

they were on the bench coz they already had their 90 minutes... coombes on the other hand was suspended for the last match, and unfortunately, i forgot to put him in this match, which means he misses out on training... and if he were playing, i think he may have made a difference

What cometer is trying to say is that your tactic sucks in a defense-wise fashion. Its as if you're playing with a 2 man defense.
