Comprehensive 7-0 win. 22 shots to 1. O'Neill somewhat redeemed himself after last week bagging 5 from 13 attempts. Link also had a brace and Kalliala had a pair of assists as the other striker up front.

5th win in a row and my supporters have just gone from "are depressed" to "believe in their club". Imagine if I can get a win on the weekend they might even be satisfied! (It would appear they took demotion almost as hard as I did :P )

Surprisingly easy 4-0 win, but it wasn't really a 1st string team put out by weeener

Comfortable 7-0 win. Wasn't sure about how it'd go playing my trainee defs... I knew 4mins in when the scoreline was 2-0. :p

Now it starts to get a bit tougher.

My slops were challenged. A bit too close for comfort for my liking!!

If anyone wants to have a chuckle... on the 57th minute, my opponent's striker ran up the guts, dribbled my goalie at the top of the box, could've run the ball into an open goal and instead fired it into the post from 5 metres out. :p

I was as surprised as you that I challenged you for most of the game. It was my 2nd team as well, so I was reasonably happy that I'm heading in the right direction. GL with the rest of the Cup.

I never dreamt of winning. That game was a good lesson of the importance of technique...we made what like 5 tackles all game the rest were just fouls or walkarounds...need some better defense

some pretty interesting fixtures this week. Starting to get down to the serious end of the competition.

scraped through in ET. Never really looked like conceding a goal though except in the 120th minute. Hoping for another fairly easy match up next week but we'll see what happens.

This is a cruel game. It was the World Cup all over again. From having it won at 2:1 in the 90th minute to losing 2:3 in extra time. I'm speechless.

Thanks to TT playing the 2nd string strikers I had a chance and surely didn't deserve to lose. But to lose like that...
