Asunto: NT Suggestion Thread

This is my 2nd season in charge and one thing I have been thinking about is how to improve the communication between myself and the rest of you users. Without you users, I wouldn't be here and I would like to give you the opportunity to voice out opinions about what things you'd like to see this season.

For example, do you users wish to enter the U21 world cup after the world cup, or would you prefer to play different style games like U20, U19, 2nd div and below team, competition game,

Similarly would you like myself to include scouts like other national teams have done to include more of you in the process of managing the national team?

Would you like some sort of a way of knowing where your player sits in relation to others in the same group?


These kind of things are examples of things which could be done this season if users were interested.

Thus I've left this open as a way of users discussing what they'd like to see this season.

Any preferences let me know here and then from similar people I can then determine what the majority of you would like and plan accordingly.

Work our way down the list

Id like to see round half the NT games being full squad (this include group matches) and the other half special things to both create more interest from lower league teams, and to bring more money into Australia (ie a capped young player will get more money on the TL then a non capped).

Also younger teams may only have a junior and seieng him play in the NT may just make that junior a focus on training.

So I would suggest games similar too

Comp match
div2 and lower match (may a div 2 match and a div 3 and lower match)
U19 through to U22
Possibly a reserves match

I wouldnt mind seeing Asutralia have assistants, not because you cant fulfill the caoch requirements, but because it would make ti easier for you, and we may see a few more attractions. No doubt having a team in sokker, Nt and uni is pretty hard.

And seeing hwere your player is ranked somehow would be a great additive because some people know they have a possibe future NT player, but it would suck if you get told that, but then it never comes through

i think you should try scouts for the teams you're playing the next week or two, get their opinions on how to play and decide for yourself whether to form new opinions and tactics or to go with your original, just to give different perspectives of the same thing.

Is it possible to make a best of Div.II Vs best of Div.III match? I'd watch that :p

Not between our div II and div III it isn't, because we can't play ourself.

All I can control is certain things in the national team, so things like who we play, what game type we play, which players play, that area, as well as the external area such as assistants, things which can be calculated etc.

I think that without telling the description of each NT players it would be nice to know what is the average description per position (GK, DEF, MID, ATT). With that average, any OZ user would know where his own players are.

You could also set a minimum average description under which there would be no point mentioning a player to you...

I think there are too many players in the squad that don't have anything there to do.

Ok if you say they are a future NT prospect, but right now with 99 players there are many that just isn't good enough. If a better player gets transfer listet that is not in the squad he might not get to the best club (best = one who wants to train him correctly) because the manager does not know how important he might be for us.

As for playing U21 and U19 games... i feel a manager always should play the players he needs to prepare for future games. Yes it gains interest, but I would not chose a U21 games if there was something important I needed to test with my A-group infront of a qualifying game or so.

Just as an idea you might want to try for "Never been in A-League" rather than Div II and under or div III and under.

Div II and under will currently involve a lot of A-Team or "not quite A but still somewhat regular" players. Whereas I imagine the idea is to get more managers involved.

I mean Div II NT'ers with 10+ caps the likes of:
Vince Veart, Brendan Ando, Noah Baveas, Karl Pilic, Noah Faria, Jamie Garland and Chris King

(I haven't even mentioned Hirons or Croxall :P )
