wtf !!! such a **** game! omg my strikers were one on one like 7 times and didnt even hit the goal!!! and the goal they scored was a fluky freee kick on the 87th minute seriously!! BAH!!!

I scored from a free kick in the 87th minute as well :) Pena pummelled the ball past the wall and the keeper.

That made up for Melbourne Victory's "goal"... which was a half pass/cross from way out near the sideline...

whats your highest striker skill?

my best striker is very good at shooting. and hes in divine form and he scores plenty of goals but just couldnt manage it today

VG is pretty low, i'm not surprised to see him quite sporadic at scoring.

divnie form though come on thats gotta count for something! hes been divine for a while and watch his last few games he just destroyed the opposition single handedly

VG is fine for Australia's div III. Some days it doesn't seem to matter and you just can't score.

Some days you can't get rid of a bomb.

Just went back through my records. When I promoted from Div III my leading scorer was "solid" (25 goals) and my second highest scorer was "adequate" with 22. My leading assists man (6) had poor PM and weak passing... even back then I had no idea how he miskicked so many good balls :P

They did, which may well have decreased my freak assist guy. I have a suspicion that a bunch of his "assists" were off the side of his boot and he had no idea where they were going... ie his skills were just bad enough to make him good :P

I kind of liked those days. When I could still get a youth pull on Wednesday who'd be an instant A-Teamer on Sunday :)

VG will slot away goals in div II as well.

I am spewing at the recklessness of my team. I've now lost 4 players. 2 to injury and 2 to card suspensions. So that's 4 #1 teamers, 3 of which are meant to be training.

Can't wait to play with a full list again. It's been a while.

their strikers in good form, and plenty of goal keeping heroics prevented me from winning :( and that defensive mid is annoying as hell!
oh well, he scored a hilarious own goal in the 8th minute and my target man did a ronaldo on the keeper. that made up for the 4-2 lost a bit... gonna have a chance at revenge at home next week. if i dont win this, i dont think i will make the promotion spot....
