Asunto: The "give your team the hairdryer treatm

I can assure you it's correct. For example note my defender wasn't subbed on yet he was 2nd on the list, outside of the goalkeeper.

The rules don't explicitly state it but I've had discussions about this with other mods about the situation and from what I've seen it's been confirmed it works this way.

Otherwise, your gk would be the first sub on everytime when a player wasn't played on the position.

If you want to test this to see it is right, play 5 defs don't have a def on the bench and have an ATT first up, followed by a MID and I guarantee you the MID comes on, not the ATT.

Im thinking I will have to try that and see what happens I have always been pretty sure it was my way (with the subs working for non goalies) but who knows maybe I always have the same order

I thought that too....altho' I've not had the pleasure of copping it first hand. Might have to trial it in my friendlies & see what happens.

I can't believe it. I've never seen my players fumble so much. That's the worst game I've ever seen them play. They were hopeless today. Every player had a shocker and I picked up 2 injuries to cap it off.

haha, I was just typing stuff up in the national team thread about how there seems to be more fumbling now under these new animations, even though apparently "nothing" has been changed.

I havent noticed much different.

Yeah, it could be just me (and most probably is) but it certainly felt like more, especially our last 2 NT matches and my last 2 club matches, along with vivskis today and a few other games I've seen.

The things that I have noticed most is that players seem to be lacking technique. (Even at formidable+, they struggle with controlling the ball.)

However, my players seem to be passing a lot better. (They seem to have higher PM as well.)

The Gondor keeper had a field day today, saved numerous shots right in front of goal. It was left up to an open goal (from a tight angle), a penalty, and a long range effort to beat him.

8/35... finally got a decent goal/shot ratio!

Some people must be pulling their hair on the other hand... Snappa beat Jyuukenbu 4-1 and I noticed that Balwyn is DIII.1 played without a GK and then got a DEF sent off...

Guess with Snappa knocking off Jyuukenbu I'm basically in the box seat for the automatic promotion unless I cough up points in my run home. Don't know whether that's a good thing or bad thing ;).

3 missed penalties in 2 games for divine form Hirons.

40 shots, and 20% play in the half, that's gotta be a club record for me or something...

pretty happy, considering 5/6 strikers i sent on scored goals, really could've had much more were it not for the ball just skimming across the crossbar, going agonizingly wide, or just plain hitting the bar/post. 3 goals scored from rebounds too, the most i've ever seen in a match, must be some kind of record too :)

Have to be kidding me!! BOTH my keepers INJURED! What is this world coming to!!... I dont know why.. but for some strange reason... i had a feeling that I shouldnt sell off my reserve keeper this week.. Great help that was! Both Keepers injured within 15 mins of eah other - Absolute joke.

Hmmm....I guess you'll be in the market for keeper then??? That is rough luck though.

Can't say I'm happy with my strikers....14 shots to 3....clear through on goal against their keeper on occasions & very limp efforts!!

Might think it's a joke but having 2 keepers injured is just the same as having a midfielder and his sub injured, actually probably less likely, since keepers can't get injured by tackling or being tackled. Fortunately it's not a common event, just that since it's 2 goalkeepers it feels more painful since you don't carry a 3rd keeper.

That said I've been carrying 1 gk for a while and haven't had too many problems but that's fortunate on my side, whereas as your side it is unfortunate. Least one of your goalkeepers will be SI come Wednesday anyway and playable if you really want to.

Pretty frustrating though if and when it happens.

Hmm, I seem to have found a case where it hasn't worked as such so maybe it's not right 100%, or at least is different with GK's. I'm actually beginning to think it's rather the next one down the list, but if one in the middle of the list gets subbed and another injury takes place, the next one under that one who got subbed on, then gets subbed on, and those above the mark get forgotten in the case of the same position not being left on the bench. Might go take these examples and argue a case back for why it can't be right ;).

Although GK's might be a different approach but you'd think it would be the same for all.
