we'll try again next season though! :)

I had a fun one too... I think the match report says it best:

Willey makes a one-touch pass. Toper approaches the ball. Anniballe brutally fouls inside the box. Penalty! Toper was hurt. He`s crying with pain! Toper approaches the penalty spot, taking just a short run-up. Newhill palms the ball clear. The ball dips, but not enough, it clips the bar. Toper takes over possession. Toper takes a swing and hits it... Newhill makes a tremendous dive, but misses the ball. Post! Smarzyński makes a diving header.
GOOOAAAAAAL!!!

You'll still top your Div. Some of the less active teams in div II are beatable for you I'd think.

You're looking fine to me. May not auto-promote, but you've got that league sewn up and anything can happen in a quali match.

I'm just in the same position as I was last year when I lost my GK to injury...
Everything went downhill from there...
but if I look at what happen today then yes strange things can happen!
we'll give a good shot :)
(a better one than today and my 3-1 defense...)

The after match review revealed a stash of pistols & knives wrapped in the keeper's towel at the Tong supporters' end. The local 'bill' are going over match footage to try & fathom what actually caused the carnage (2 red cards & 3 injuries).

Spewing - After the first half, should have had about 3 goals put past their keeper. BUT no! someone just wants to hit the crap outta the ball BACKWARDS! And WHATS with all the Send offs/injuries ive been getting! CM, GK(x2!) Winger(R), Striker (R).

Supporters are now Depressed so Sponsor $$ and Supporters are going down now. A game the Frogs really should have won!

24000 is a nice crowd for a D3 game! :)

TCL got a 27000+ crowd and probably pocketed around 350k with his fully covered stadium... that's serious money for a D3 club too!
2008-08-18 11:16:41
with my stadium a full house makes me ~225k...
2008-08-19 00:25:14
mine makes 208k and I have 5500 less seats than you...
2008-08-19 02:18:19
:O (eyes boggling) you have seats under cover?!
2008-08-19 02:24:49
hell yeah...
long term I'm aiming at a 30000 seaters all covered...
The 4 corners of my stadium will be seats under cover straight away...
no more messing around with benches or terraces
Ticket income is such a big part of my club income I want to maximise it...
I need another $6.5-7million to finsih the job :)

more income = more money to spend on coaches and players...
I might take it the wrong way round for some but that's how I see it :)
2008-08-19 04:43:37
*relies on uber juniors* :P

with the maximum number of juniors in my YS, chances are i'll get another uber junior :D
2008-08-19 06:36:54
I think I've pulled one or two juniors this season...
I started being really selective, like nothing above 6 wks talent and coming out less than VG!
Below they dont sell for enough money to justify training imo...
so in my case the quickest way to make some $ was with the stadium :)
