Asunto: The "give your team the hairdryer treatm

Another one for sx.... How long did you have to wait before scoring two wins in a row in II?
:)

That said I'm expecting my run to stop very shortly!

The boys went down 2-0 after 15mn and I screamed with my best aussie accent "that's B******"...
It turned out that game probably gave my most enjoyable win (5-2) as the tactic was just spot on the day...

My game was pretty horrible, felt like switching it off after 10min of it. Probably should have as it just got worse after that.

Very disappointed not to take all 3 points in my game. 14 shots to 3, 2-2 draw.
I foolishly used my #1 striker in the 16-0 cup win and he picked up another injury.

I'm not planning to top the league this season, so it's not all that bad. Hadn't planned on dropping points this round though. Worst start to a season for a while.

vivski para vivski
Very disappointed again. No points, despite lots of scoring chances. A last minute goal-line clearance from Krayzee sealed the 3 points for him.

Even worse outcome was injuring NT defender Eric Kohler.

Now I have to look into whether my #2 defs will be capable of holding out Losers.

Bad week so far. This compounds the fact that I had ZERO pops in any skills this week... none.

6 juniors arrived today, visited the club, had breakfast...
and then all left cause they were crap...
sobs...
2009-02-07 07:48:04
that's 5 better than me :p. I had 1 junior arrive, had breakfast then hit the road. What is it with these youths today ;).
2009-02-07 10:42:55
I dont know... but you had 5 mouths less to feed! :)

My requirements haven't changed, but I'm down to 19 juniors now. Some of them on the chopping block this week. An outstanding 4 due out next season in the best of the lot.

I'm relying on the lucky younger teams like sx to pull the awesome youths for me to train.
2009-02-08 05:25:23
I've lowered my requirements (next three out are good, solid, solid) and still only have 17 :(
2009-02-08 09:18:00
My school currently has 28 but about 4-5 of those could be sacked next week.

I do have an incredible <4wk coming out next week, wish me luck.
2009-02-08 09:35:26
heh, bet you can't wait to get your hands on cahill after i finish pace with him :P

1 goal from 14 shots for a VG striker in superdivine form. That was ridiculus to watch.
2009-02-08 19:57:47
4 or 5 fouls resulting in straight red (11 mins - best striker off), yellow, yellow, & red for 2nd yellow & penalty (best defender off)....compared to opposition having around the same amount of fouls for nil cards.

Got to half time with 10 men at 1-1 & up to 70 mins still giving as good as we got....then it all fell apart....no chance with 9 men against arguably the best div II team.
2009-02-08 22:56:15
That seem 1 or 2 goal short...
that said you cant expect too much of a VG striker. I'll definately be looking at improving that if you want a chance to play for II or in II.
Excellent or Formidable has become a minimum in III if you want to play the top roles imo. You might get away with it this season on points but you'll get caught next season if you promote.

no goals from 16 shots...anyone wanna buy a striker?
2009-02-10 09:03:20
still leading hahahahahaa
