odd one...

satisfied supporters + probably not very high either (TT) + cloudy and drizzle = sold out 30000 attendance!!

4-1 down and ended up winning 5-4. Somewhat of a comeback I must say :). Terrible defensive effort from my side but I'll look to fix that. Underestimated their strikers ability to break the defense. I'll try to fly the flag as long as possible but in all likeliness I'll be knocked out next week or the week after.

I just realise that despite losing on sunday my fan's mood has gone up one level! :p

They better fix mood.... mine fans have been losing hope all season, it's now depressed.

Also, Beauchamp better start looking after himself, he's been injured nearly every game hes' played this season.

Win silver in the cup, currently sitting 3rd in A-League, a win on the weekend...

12 supporters leave.

That's pretty harsh in my book.

Yeah. Even as a new user I'm getting punished now. Sitting mid table in my first season in the div above teams with better players, higher rankings, etc. Lost against teams way better than me and 4 supporters joined and the fans are only satisfied. Plus I've lost about 40k in sponsorship and about 15% of the fans stopped turning up to games.

Well in your case it's bound to happen. Would have been worse under the old situation. The case is different to that of naph's who is somewhat punished for being the strongest side in the past few seasons on ratings and ranking points. In saying that though, Tribe are coming off a pretty dreadful streak of results, which probably would have seen them lose a few supporters anyway (maybe not as many as currently though).

i will be dreading losing my supporters when i lose that next match, moreso if its a qualifier >.<
2009-07-23 18:27:58
Yeah, the supporter situation has certainly flipped the pain the other direction now. I actually quite like that but it's a bit too extreme in some cases, like teams winning 100% of matches and still dropping or unable to improve mood.

I doubt you'll lose that much in a qualifier under this current system. You would have under the older one. Time will tell though.

That's my swing for the last 2 months. I'm not surprised that its got to the point that its a lot harder to gain supporters than it is to lose them, its a heck of a lot harder to keep them than it has been previously though.

At a guess the devs have decided that established teams have too much of an advantage due to the difference in supporter numbers and have decided to fix it. Knowing that it will be an unpopular decision with established players The majority of plus payers will be at least somewhat established, so the information has thus been quite minimal. I prefer the transparent and open approach when doing such corrections, but I've rarely seen it done with online games.

It's fairly clear to me from reading the news that they have changed the supporter mood format...
It's front page of the website so no so minimal really!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed all the threads on international asking for more details on the change. The official headline news can be summed up with "There have been changes to supporters mood, we're sure you'll notice."
2009-07-24 08:00:36
If they dont want to release more details then it's up to them.
I dont have a problem with that, it keeps us guessing like we do for form or attendance for exemple.
The only thing I know is that it's harder to please the fans which I think had another dimension to it... I can understand fans would be disapointed if their team beat the bottom team only 1-0 or draw with them for exemple.
I don't think it only affects big teams since I've lost fans this season too and it's the best season in the history of my club, it just forces me to pay attention each week.

What hasn't changed as far as I'm aware is the supporters that join each week. The only thing that changed was the actual mood calculation, so the drops in numbers would have/could have been the same as previously. When I was coming 7th and 8th a few seasons back I lost about 200 supporters for the season due to having low mood.

Still the drops are pretty extreme. I won my last two friendlies and A League match against decent opposition and jumped from losing hope to delighted.
