I'm struggling to remember a time when defenders were selling so cheaply. At the moment it's just take your pick at who you want. Market's obviously flooded with quality atm and that's probably a significant cause for why the prices are so low. That and people want to spend their money on younger players rather than older ones that are good to go for a few seasons.

Picked up a defender for 2.4mill earlier to slot straight into the team. Great when you're out shopping for defenders :). So glad I haven't listed my defs yet though, I'd be shattered if they went cheap like some of these others.

I know what you mean. Looks like I'll only take home 100k for Gareth O'Sullivan. :P

Took a punt to list him tonight... don't think it's going to pay off.

Well I kind of suspected an overflooded market given the users and the fact everyone seems to think the best time to list is as soon as you get money. That would be true if only 1 side thought that way, but everyone suddenly thinks the same thing which basically drives up supply and well there's so much there that prices fall.

Other things contributing to that is the fact no one is willing to pay what players are truly worth who are ageing, everyone wants them at 22-23 these days. I'm quite happy to pick off the older crop if they remain cheap ;).

I decided that if there are 2000 Polish users logging in for their Cup games, then there's bound to be 2 who need a last-minute defender. Could work, could just as easily backfire, 'cos supply is massive and the servers are taking a hit.

And I was up at 3am for some reason and thought, bugger it, why not? :D

My initial plans were wait for the league games personally, but I'll reconsider that and might wait til this market returns to some stability.

Yep, depends on the player. If it's the type of guy who's going to be the best of his type, he'll look attractive. So sometimes the quieter days yield higher prices for certain players.

I'm trying to decide on a good day/time to sell Tarka. If I get a time/day where he's top of the pops, he might bring home the bacon.

hmm... i just thought that innit ironic that both our NT managers relegated from the A-League, and are replaced by a bot and the newest ever manager to make the A-League? :P:P:P

The fact that a bot auto-promoted into the top league probably says more about the state of Sokker in Australia.

Being a bot isn't that big a disadvantage (until a-league). Not many Australian sokker users actually use tactics making it a battle of who has the best players.
