I've still got a few teams that I'll struggle to spank, MM and Salgaocar are always difficult to pile goals against and I'm sure fantum won't be "experimenting" in quite the same way as in the opening round.

You've still got a handy 10 goal advantage but yeah I'm relieved that I was able to close the gap today. Wasn't looking pretty 1st half at only 4-0, but ended up walking goals in.

Helps put me into a position such that the likely worst top position I'll finish is 2nd highest winner on the assumption I win the remaining games. I'll be happy with either 1st (getting the AP) or facing the side that finishes 7th in the A League, mainly because it appears to be either TG or DAU in those 2 positions.

I just want to avoid the possible clash of SLTFATF, Tribe or Achmids Soul if I have to go through the playoff system.

Quite possible. But I'll be taking no chances. I don't want to play either DAU or Tolly. A game you play is a game you can lose. Especially against quality opponents.

indeed, I want guaranteed in if I can help it because I want the extra 100k sponsorship and incoming fans. Struggling to gain fans even with top fan mood because I'm obviously so far above everyone else in my league or have reached the "soft cap" so to speak.

Though I'd still be fairly confident with TG or DAU if that came to be. Would give an extra training week would be the bigger plus.

As if it ain't hard enough to win against a team with Papaluca... Canberra goes and scores a header from about 25 yards out. Never seen one like it before.

You need to watch more of Palermo then ;).

tbh the header wasn't aimed to go in either by Canberra. They meant to header it to their striker but missed the target but found a bigger one. Keepers still seem to struggle to react to passes or attempted passes :(.

I saw that header for Boca. Awesome goal.

I've scored a few free kicks like that where it was a pass that just dribbles into the bottom corner and the keeper doesn't move.

My team has somehow got worse during the season.

After the Cup loss... we couldnt bring ourselves back together... Disappointing back end of the season... some recruiting needed to get back to the top of the A-League

Bit devo to lose out on the title by 1 point. I feel like the 1st game against TBF cost me the title. Had 32 shots to 11 and only managed a 4-4 draw. Interesting to note that both games ended as 4-4 draws though. Probably the 2 most attacking teams in the country (though Tribe have an argument) with a particular focus on midfield. Gonna need to recruit heavily for next season with all of my older players on the way down.

My striker finally finds some form after 2 seasons on tragic... then picks up a 22-day injury. Bugger!

Wtf is going on here. Last week i was pretty sure i set a lineup but it gave a walkover, and this week i am 100% sure. And yes, i set more than those showing, set people definitely this week who i wasn't selling, my tactic is still current and i definitely pressed save
