Asunto: The "give your team the hairdryer treatm

It is just silly when you are competing with a Polska div V team for a 6 million $ player.... DIV V!!!!
2010-09-17 14:45:43
Yeah but that V side might have been in the game 4-5 years too or had been daytrading for ages. With this ticket price being introduced it's only going to get worse for us in particular.

As thisis our, talk about anything thread, just thoughts Id mention that in our 4 div II leagues there are,

II.01 - 2bots
II.02 - 1
II.03 - 2
II.04 - 4

So just over 28% of our div II teams are bots. I know this is pretty consistent with other seasons, but surely you'd think we'd have enough active users to at least fill up 2 divisions with non-bots, with the auto promo/reles being non bot as well (total of 44 teams out of 90 human teams)
2010-09-22 16:07:11
I don't really know if we've got 44 active managers though. We've got 90 users but how many of those are active I wouldn't know, maybe 20 if we're lucky. We are just going through a vicious cycle atm where a lot of our experienced and active managers of the past have gone and we're not getting enough newer managers in to maintain our level.

Salgoacar and Tollybot's time in II.01 is almost at an end. Their teams are getting pretty damned old.

Can anyone say, worst training EVER!!

0 pops, and a plop in stamina to a 23yo of mine.

Just like last season when my chance at promotion got ruined by my whole backline getting injured... its the turn of my attack this season....
2010-10-06 16:05:23
Surely you aren't saying that you can't beat the team coming last in your division with your strikers SI. If that's the case, I think your team has more problems than your strikers being injured.

I'm not worried about my next game. It is the week after I've got my eye on.

Div IV is GOOOONNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!

We fought so long and hard to get it, and when we finally did, new user numbers declined to its current state in about 6 months (bad timing really), so it's probably a good thing it is now gone.

Hopefully they promoted all the new teams to div III and not just got rid of them. It definitely feels like a small country again.
2010-11-11 08:09:41
Gives us something to aim for to get back. I do think that III leagues is the best option atm given our slowly falling user base. Maybe this is something we can target to improve upon.
2010-11-11 08:11:58
Definitely the best option, I'm not against it, but it is kinda sad to see it gone. I'm looking forward to seeing how it affects sponsorship money.
2010-11-11 10:03:30
I'm NOT looking forward to seeing how it affects sponsorship money.

Fixed that for you.

I'm worried that it will hurt us badly. We're only just in a position to keep our good youngsters.
2010-11-11 12:01:27
I can't see how it is going to affect the AL sponsorship in any ways nor Div II teams.
The teams in III are going to struggle if they get newbies week in week out, that will dent their sponsorship for sure... or maybe I'm misunderstanding you?
