If I'd missed some of those chances in a competitive A-League game I'd be absolutely spitting chips let me tell you.

Reminds me of some of the near misses of Argentina vs Australia tonight, and they're top international teams. Had you scored at the same rate as Argentina tonight, you would have needed twice as many shots as you actually had. If you think about it, it's not that easy to score a goal, even when inside the box or 1v1. It just looks bad in sokker.

Teen Girl Squad have filed a compensation claim against Tribe folllowing the news that TGS have been ordered by the league to install new goal posts after the posts were cracked and broken in many places.

In other news, Sokker Australia have sent referees to ensure that the TGS goals are in compliance with FISA's minimum size.

My midfielder with tragic striking has scored a scorcher in the friendly....now thats impressive :)

gah.... 22 to 3 shots.... and the score? 2-1! frankly, i'm disappointed. i haven't watched the match yet cause apparently vista screwed up my flash player, but i can see from the match report that the post is pretty beat up...
i think i should tell them to go for the posts next time so that instead of hitting the post, it will go in. (as opposed to going for goal and hitting the post)

haha no because they'd miss completely then.

That is too say if they are aiming to the goals currently then they're either off target to the left or right so by aiming at the posts they're going to be further off :p.

I didn't hit the posts, but I kept hitting the keeper :(

won my match 9-0 against the bottom team in the league. not very happy at the 21 day injury to my second best striker in the 20th minute though :(

now i have 2 attacking players out :( hopefully this trend will not continue...

i drew 0-0 and my best striker injured...three games ended with the same score so i didnt loose any ground :)

Ermm, my keeper can save 2 penalties, and a shot from point blank range, but he can't stop a cross from not going in the back of the net!!!

I hate this fix:
- Half-time / End-of-game whistle will not be blown with a player extremely likely to score a goal – for example, with the attacker having dribbled past the last defender.

that hasn't even occurred yet anyway lol. This only happens in the NT friendlies and the standard friendlies after a few weeks from now.


As a matter of fact it's in the news:

This new match engine will be used from now until the end of this season in NT friendly games and in regular friendly games starting October 10th (after all national cups are completed). It will then be used in all matches from the start of next season.
