What's wrong with your fans, cometer?

Against Minkees:
The team played a match. Income from tickets was 563 772 AU$. 2010-12-15 11:29:54

Against Comets:
The team played a match. Income from tickets was 386 454 AU$. 2010-12-22 12:57:28

And my fan mood is up 2 points on where it was last week. Don't your fans know a blockbuster when they see one?
In fact, me and Minkee almost pulled 50,000 in drizzle... and I don't think Minkee was doing a Clive Palmer with ticket prices. ;)

You tell me, they apparently love the club but keep leaving in numbers. Quite possibly I didn't have the price set properly leading to fewer people attending.

hmmm....apparently beating a mid table team (at the time) 10-0 wasn't enough to keep 3 of the fickle fe&&s.
teams going to bots is starting to kick in.....sponsors have tightened belts in recent weeks....crowds have stayed away in droves.....
2011-01-20 11:44:21
12 trainings to a 26 year talented guy and still no pop to unearthly pace. The lazy b-stard is shirking on the training pitch!
2011-01-20 11:54:17
lol sharpley took a whole season to get there
2011-01-24 20:33:13
can someone explain how supporter mood pops (up) & I lose fans....after last week, gaining fans when supporter level after league game stayed the same.....lost fans previous week (SM stayed same).
& before anyone jumps in with the whole sub level spiel....it still doesn't make sense.
bad enough copping the sponsorship hit owing to newbies being thrown into div 2, along with mass drop in crowds.

no idea, seems strange that only when i got back to madly in love did the supporters really start coming back, and come back they did!

I'm facing the same issues.

Unfortunately for us, because of the new sides coming in, we now have significantly larger fan bases then everyone else in our league and as a consequence find it much more difficult to gain fans. In fact, we're so far ahead that even at MIL supporter mood we're losing fans in droves. I'm yet to gain a fan this season, I lost 13 myself this week.

That's the reason for losing fans at MIL.

The reason why you're losing fans after gaining a level and gaining fans last week comes about because there's a random range from where the number gained/lost comes from. Also you've improved fan size and most likely others haven't gained as many resulting in the gap widening and hence more pressure on your fan size decreasing.

The bottom line is essentially that everything in this game is linked (some directly, others indirectly) to league strength - fan size, fan mood, sponsorship, attendance... pretty much all the money making items.

Solution: get out of that league as soon as possible as the system ain't going to change anytime in the near future.

On the flip side though, there is a positive to us losing fans. When we go back to the A League we'll have much lower expectations which in turn should see our supporter mood stay towards the top, keeping our sponsorship levels up towards the top and our fans should flock back quicker as we're further behind the others. So we should therefore see increased revenue than had we not been losing all these fans.

so if I don't win my qualifier at season end, I'm better off demoting the following season...cleaning out my squad to save a truckload on wages....keep the extra millions from transfers in the bank....then have some fun training youths & doing just enough to win div 3.....LOL!!!
I guess my supporters are mirroring my mood....bored!
:-)

No div 3 would be worse still as their fan sizes are even smaller :p.
2011-01-26 19:13:00
I realise that. Just the thought of selling Patterson, Wiliams, Lamch, all mf & strikers....having around 70 mill in the bank & virtually starting again does have some appeal right now.

I believe I just got "0" pops. Coach consider yourself sacked, not even a random to make you look decent
2011-04-07 07:30:11
If it's any consolation I've had 2 stam pops and 1 striker pop... to my GK!
